  1. Geoff's a little busy today saying goodbye to his grandmother, but he'd tell you to get your to Cosco and buy one for $284.... if they still have them.
  2. All depends on temps and how you like the heat... but at full they say it lasts 35 hours on a 20lb...so would be 8 hour+ on a 5. Pretty sure Ron got 3 days out of his 5lb'r last time he was at my place in Temagami.. might have been only two though. I carry a 20... have never had to refill/change tanks even after 8 days of enough heat to take the chill off and full blast boiling water for Mr Noodles at lunch for the crew or warming our tin foiled wraps. I also got my burner during a 1/2 price sale at CTC.. $30
  3. I prefer this one myself and a 5 or 20 lb tank. You get over a week of fishing out of a 20 lb'r. carefully turn the burner 90* and it will work upright or laying down as a cooking surface. http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/3/HouseHome/1/HeatingAirConditioning/PortableBaseboardHeaters/PRD~0522630P/Portable%252BPropane%252BTank%252BTop%252BHeater.jsp?locale=en Be forewarned though... you'll end up being the lunch hour chef !
  4. Keep in mind, with that many people you're talking a Beaver minimum if you wanna go in one flight...
  5. What insurance? First Nations truck... with a slow moving vehicle sign.. no plates no insurance. They are apparently going to be charged under the environmental act though for every day it's down there and are working on a recovery plan. I've talked to a diver contacted and the logistics are a nightmare. It's in sand/silt.. both plows are down... that will need to be lifted somehow while underwater before it can be winched back to shore for recovery. It's 360 feet from shore...
  6. Thanks for the heads up. Might save a few guys some dollars that are already going across. Haven't been to the 2 Dicks Dax.. but my brother and I have tipped pints at the ThreeCocks.
  7. Nice find Vince. Have a few of those in the boat house at the lake (there when I bought it)... guess I should dust them off and ebay them.. lol
  8. You told them you lived in Vancouver correct.. start driving now! lol Have fun my friend!
  9. Skeeter needs to build a bungalooooo...
  10. Say what... what kind of crap server are they running... all my linked pictures are on my own website.. which is hosted on our son's own servers.
  11. Great stuff boss.. this younger crowd is gonna ask if you take debit cards though.. none of them carry more than $5 cash!! lol
  12. They should take care of you well at Loon. Not a spot we generally fish, so I can't offer much for that location.. we either fish well before it down the NE Arm or further up the North Arm and into Kokoko etc. We stay away from drilling anywhere near the ice road to Bear Island etc.
  13. A Bump for Gino.. and video if anyone wants to see a 5 ton plow do the disappearing act.. http://www.ottertooth.com/Temagami/newsbriefs.htm
  14. Great outing Rob!! Out with the brother.. how could you go wrong.
  15. To bad Leah's old man doesn't still own Le-Ho-My... he'd have a shuttle bus going. Park in the campground yard, load and drop ya at the lake..
  16. Park at Innisfil Beach.. $10.. and it's not much of a walk to get to deep water.
  17. If you want lots of water/slush on the ice... just invite Ron fishing with you and try to use the same spot the next day! Something about swiss cheese... The weight of the snow has the ice at or below the true water level.. you drilling a hole lets said water out.
  18. You're not talking about Crappysteve.. aka bedpan man.
  19. You should check out all the companies a little billard and bowling company own..
  20. Innisfil beach.. as of last year .. 10 dollars upon entrance to park. Waved during fishing for Tyler last year...
  21. LOL... scan and print.. Funny thing.. Midland Ramp.. the 2007 I made someone from my old 2006 that I had looked better than the 2007 I got from the town (they'd sent their excess 2006 back to the maker to be updated!)
  22. I think you might need some computer help yourself...
