  1. I hope all the other Tracker owners here are learning something... ...when the hull cracks on you....just forget to strap it to the trailer and drop it somewhere HARD. Then call the insurance company. Yah.. you're probably gonna get charged under the Highway traffic act for an insecure load.. but that'll be a cheap price to pay. Better yet, drop it right in the parking lot at the ramp and the HTA won't apply...
  2. Knew I forgot to do something when I was up town running around transfering sled ownership and getting insurance... I'll get back to you Geoff... don't need them 'till spring at the earliest and maybe not at all for this summer the way things are going.
  3. LOL.. Specks one day along that shore.. Pike the next with the wind in the opposite direction!
  4. Wedco W520's are what I'm looking for.... and I have sent an email to Wedco. From their website.. still showing it as CSA approved Copywrite 2008. All these self vent cans are CARB.. california standard low emission.. http://www.theplasticsgroup.net/pdf/us/gascontainersheetCAN.pdf
  5. Thanks for the offer Scott.. don't rush out there.. let me do some homework first as I'm not sure when I'll be down that way anytime soon. Gonna go out to the hangar and get the product # off the cans I like to use. They work perfect to throw up on a wing and tip into the tank filler neck. I only have 5 of them.. bought about 15 years ago.. but that's only 5 trips to the Lake trout "retreat".. so I want a whole bunch more! lol Thanks Dan... I'll have a look when I'm up town tomorrow, but Yellow = Diesel around here.. I'd have to paint them or I'd find #1 son dumping 100LL in the Zetor and the Kabota!! .
  6. I've found Wedco still makes the exact style can I want.. but only in blue W1002 for kerosene. Anyone know who would sell those. 100LL - AV gas is blue.. I have no problems with a blue can. http://www.theplasticsgroup.net/pdf/us/specialcontainersheet.pdf
  7. Great stuff Simon!! A day fishing with Ben doesn't need fish to be a great time I'm sure...
  8. Anyone know where a guy would find ~ 15 of the old style 20 litre cans.. with the seperate vent cap??? Not the crap they sell now with the self venting snorkel. They're useless! The vent cap style allows you to flip the can over into the filler neck and then open the vent cap.. the new ones do not. I need about 15 more for the camp, so I have a total of 20 = 100 gallons. Tired of paying $2 a litre for av gas at the lake, when I have 500 gallons here at home that I can take with me a 100 gallons at a time... I see you can still get the "jeep" style can.. but would prefer the shorter/wider ones of yesteryear.
  9. A roll of 12/2 ain't cheap no more.. + a breaker for the panel... I wouldn't drive to your house for that Dave.. don't hesitate, if you can't do it yourself.
  10. Yep.. my trailer mirrors would fit that..thought you would have made an offer by now! LOL
  11. Or "Dumb fish" in Alaska... I'll have to find that video.. Here it is... internet flying friend and his kids "fishing" for Hooligan <iframe title="YouTube video player" class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/pa3nuKWzYp8" frameborder="0" allowFullScreen></iframe>
  12. Where did you get that picture of my older sister doing her sidewalk ???
  13. Lateral line yes Spiel.. they also get a full layer of red heavy "flesh" between skin and the good fillet. Pretty sure this is what he's refering to. We had a few last year that Lloyd had to trim about 1/4" off the fillet thickness
  14. .. and someone to wrestle with...
  15. LOL... the helicopters will have to wait 'till the storm passes...
  16. Was funny 7 hours ago, in the thread, too Doc !
  17. Let me know.. She lives across the street in the town houses now. I missed closing by 10 minutes on Sunday... arriving at 5:10 !
  18. Yep.. and legal where they're doing it. We had that arguement around here about 3 weeks ago..
  19. Doc's gettin close !
  20. Catch 22 eh... you mark it clearly.. then you know it's a hazard. You don't mark it.... It's like putting up a sign.. "beware of dog".. makes you liable as you know it's dangerous. Where'as "Guard dog on duty" does not!
  21. Brother rides the 407 all the time on his Harley.. standard config, as manufactured, storage box overhangs the plate and the camera can't pick it up. Plate is not "obstructed" and not his problem that camera angle can't pick it up. Same deal with a tailgate down with load in truck. Plate can still be read by the police following.. it's not "obstructed". There are no "exceptions" in the HWTA for the 407.
  22. Youngest should have all their brands sampled in due time! So far she likes the pumpkin.. being that she's only 250 feet from their front door and the real beer store is a mile up the other street across the bridge!
  23. They do not remove them.. they let them melt out and float around for prop strikes in the spring.
  24. LOL Ben.. it's not just the big ones.. we see it on the keepers on Temagami when they get close to the 18" mark.
