Thanks Roger and everyone else that keeps checking in here. Jen went back to her apartment on Wednesday afternoon... to get an entire 4 days and 3 nights (out of the last 3 weeks)without her parents staring at her.. and hopefully some friend visit time. We're back to the city Sunday night.. for full week #5 of chemo for this skull tumour.. and then home again on Friday night the 21st. Deja vu all over again.. better not be sitting in GBH on Christmas eve this time around.. As asked previously... please share Jen's Montage video where ever you can, heck.. go click it from time to time when you think that sniffle is something to whine about!

Been 10 cents a litre cheaper, at minimum, in Midland (compared to GTA) ever since CTC put in their new gas bar and started a price war with Zehrs across the road. We use to be the other way around.. with the excuse that we were "at the end of a dead end highway, so it cost more to deliver". Currently 112.7.. what a deal eh??!!

Not pulling anything and set on cruise.. I can come darn close enough to 9.9 without smelling diesel fumes (Sorry Paul.. lol). Penetang to the Ottawa Valley and back 2 weeks ago, 11.6 litres/100km with my '11 F150, with the 5.0 Coyote engine, and that was with all the stops, goes and villages along hwy 12 and 7.

It's so well hidden.. even they can't find it!! Seriously..I don't think there's anything in there big enough that they're interested in it!

We saw them in Smiths Falls, between the main lock and Old Slys in the 70's! I lived on the river there...

..and to anyone that thinks Capt hooked is blowing smoke.... Kevin works hard on their rearing ponds as do others that run lodges in the area. The "plummas" and myself have helped financially with this effort over the years and I'm sure a few others have as well. Another sad side that I don't think anyone touched on.. reducing the limits will just put more pressure on other Zone 11 lakes. Temagami had/has an 18 to 24" slot that kept things in check on the lake. There was no slot on any other lake in the area. New regs came out in 2010 making the slot 17 to 24" for all the surrounding lakes and Temagami remained at 18 to 24. You wouldn't think it would change anything.. but it sure did. Many locals started fishing Temagami vs Net and Cassels Lakes to get that extra inch of fish. Now a 2 fish limit down the road...

Friggin COLD ! I learned to water ski on it when I was 10 years old. You won't fall more than twice.. I can tell you that!

HEY.. I almost slipped and fell during that 18 foot walk to work! (1/2" thick freezing rain up here!)

Sounds like a great excuse to sell and move to me! ... I can just SQUEEK mine thru a 9' Garaga door with the double weather stipping on it.

If you go with the 30... you'd better have some damn good bow candy to throw out there, as the boat isn't good for much else when it comes to fishing at least! The 12... you can have the time of your life, on almost any water body with some preperation and thought pattern.
