  1. Only have an old float base supplement here at home.. but I have Air North Bay 705-497-8810 Give it a ring and see if it's still works.
  2. Good to see the "Dutch couple" are still in good shape... they originally came from Le-Ho-My on Big Bay Point Road ...that Leah's parents owned. Hope you didn't tell that short little women who you knew... lol ...or you'd see the surcharge on your bill !
  3. Usually find one or two a year in the yard here... not a big deal.. you just get accustom to flipping boards and such over with your foot, not your hand! Been doing same for over 25 years. Not sure how some people would ever survive Australia !
  4. Don't worry... when they finally get around to slowing Lake Huron / Georgian Bay down, from dumping thru the St. Clair. Lake Ontario will be so low they'll never need to worry about flooding or erosion! 20.36 Million dollars to tell everyone they'll let nature take care of the level fluctuations!
  5. Starting to feel like we've been stuck in the movie Ground Hog Day, for the last 3 years. Packing the suit case and off to Toronto in the morning...

The "Movie" continues... back on Wednesday for chemo.. and the Wednesday after that. Repeat story for 8 months possibly.

  6. "did we have a moment when we made awkward eye contact with a mouth full of deep fried hot dog?"
  7. Had a feed of largies tonight ourselves.. thanks to the youngest (daughter) fishin and filletin last weekend on 12 Mile Bay!
  8. Thanks to all involved!! Much appreciated from the bottoms of our hearts. Wish we could have made it, but the stars never seem to align!
  9. At least we know where some of the whitefish went......
  10. Wasn't too rough for an early November, snowy, day!!.. and why the lanyards!
  11. LMAO Goran... I'm pretty sure that is Lew's 600.. could be wrong! lol
  12. 700C definitely a trolling reel Roger... a good one at that.. but definitely not a caster.
  13. I had a similar problem with my airplane GPS.. older unit and on the flight North it never initialized. Noticed it last year too.. taking longer and longer to come on line. Have found out the issue with GPS these days is the algorithm clock only updates every 4 hours off the satellites and it use to be only 15 minutes. So try throwing a trickle charger on the boat in the laneway and leave your unit turned on.. see if it initializes after a couple of hours. I did this a few weeks back when I was up North and it took my airplane GPS 2 hrs and 45 minutes to come on line.
  14. Will see what we find out on Tuesday and maybe we can work something in.... if we're not presented with enough time to get North for a bit.
  15. You need a better photographer... maybe my phone will ring next time you're going out!! LOL
  16. Soaked in raw fuel... carb issue... float bowls overflowing
  17. ..dumb and stupid... but they sure helped me laugh and weave through traffic on College St every morning, on the way to Mount Sinai. Especially Wednesday's "what happened" womens day...
  18. Take 43... ..video shows Ryan ! Thanks for the laugh and the non-stop work on this fund raiser.
  19. Terry... go into Princess Auto and buy a roll of "Tarp Tape". It sticks very well and will last a long time. Stop drill just below the crack. Similar happened to my original one and I had it taped for at least 3 years before selling it and the crack never progressed any further.
  20. I seriously disagree with this statement. Mine was more stable than the identical sized aluminum tinny. I believe you are referring to the old canoe style portaboat and not the square transom version that is sold these days. Picture of my old one...with wood framed seats. ..and the newer rotomolded seat version that I sold to Terry.
  21. I'll go over there tomorrow after I get my truck from Ford Terry... 2 cans?
  22. Needed a big smile today Simon!!! Thanks for sharing the wonderful progress.
  23. Thanks guys... so fitting that Roger chose today to check in and bump this to the top. Jen finished her Radiation, at Sunnybrook, today at 4pm. She's noticed that the forward skull bump has decreased in size since this started last Wednesday so a good sign we hope. She was squeezed in yesterday morning, at Mount Sinai, for CT's of the remainder of her body to check for any other spreading and we see her Oncologist again next Tuesday..... for what we suspect will be 8 months of weekly chemo regardless of what the scans show.
