Thanks again for the support... here's a couple of pictures of Jen on the Dock 104.1 morning show a few weeks ago announcing the launch of the "Hope Lives Here" coffee table book. The book launch is on Thursday night, in Midland, for anyone that has no where better to be.. tickets are $50 through the Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre and the books are $65 each. This week on the medical side I had my buddy (and personal Doctor) come by the house on Wednesday afternoon to fill out some Insurance paperwork and a blood requisition for Jen, as it was suspected her hemoglobin would be too low to do Chemo come the 18th of November. As suspected she was only 74 (down from 88 a week ago Monday)! .. so Jen was in the local hospital today for 7 hours getting a couple bags of blood and has to be back on Monday for a third. MRI on her brain, skull and neck is booked at Sunnybrook for next Tuesday night at 10:10PM, of all times.

Time frame isn't out of the realm.. 8pm arrival missed.. an hour goes by with no flight plan closed..... a couple hours to get SAR in the air and then they search into the night looking for any clues.

Depart at sundown.. into known IFR (it was snowing and sleeting heavily) for Owen Sound, in a single engine Cessna without heated prop or leading edge deice.... not going to be a good outcome. Harsh... but reality, sorry. And Yes Lew you'd be pretty much bang on course for Cornwall to Owen Sound.. for a Herc to buzz the house looking for the poor sole along his proposed flight path.

Well his Mother and Sister hung him out to dry in an interview tonight... so I guess if his own family can't stand behind him it's time for rehab!

Guess they figured since they always get to open the golf courses... they should get in the 6 day white tail hunt tooooo !

.. and I fished Georgian Bay regularly in a 12' Springbok (car topper!) with a 7.5 Elgin (closepin on choke) for many years with my father in law... the point was he said he and his wife wanted a boat large enough to take their GRANDCHILDREN out on Lake Ontario. That's a whole different game and responsibility. ..oh and btw my 2150 will go through 11" of skinny water with the 9.9 running!

"Inconvenience"... if I was lazy the shower system would have still been in the box, not installed to the wall. Just pointing out the stupidity between their price guarantee policy (12 days) and their return policy (90 days).

I found that out when a shower unit I bought to modify Jen's bathroom went on sale for 1/2 price, about 20 days after I had installed it. Went in with the receipt and was told.." sorry too much time has gone by. If you hadn't of installed or used it you could have returned it within 90 days". I said.. okay, I'll go buy another one off the shelf for 1/2 price.. go out that door and come back in this one with the old receipt and return it for full price. "Oh.. well.. never mind doing that.. here's your $99..."

She's getting better... ...pretty soon we'll have to watch you as close as we do Terry !

It is a sad thing to see... I clip every one of the loops myself. As for the limit... I heard they lifted all possession limits on Canada Geese and Snow Geese this year for hunters, why not an open season on cormorants as well?

Sorry I couldn't get there today Rob... I thought it might be in Whitby, and not Sarnia, and thought I could slip away from the hospital and run East for a few hours.. but I couldn't leave for a day trip to Sarnia and back. Hope things went as well as they could.. and that Brian gave you the hug I sent. Wayne
