That's a good deal on AGM ?

Equipment failure is not an option for me on the big water, or any water for that matter, specially in bad/rough weather. I will be replacing my 6 year old battery before I hit the water this year. I also carry good jumper cables in case I need a boost from my trolling motor battery or another boat. I have never needed the jumper cables for my battery but have helped a couple of boaters with dead batteries.

I believe Angling Outfitters in Woodstock can do install on units they sell, Wouldn't hurt to ask.
-
Distilled water is better, I don't think you did much harm to the battery by adding sterile water, Anything after 6 years is a bonus for a lead acid battery, The cranking battery in my boat is also 6 years old and still tests fine, but I am replacing it regardless,

Tire shopping finally over,,,,,,,,,,,,NF, BUT FR
NANUK replied to misfish's topic in General Discussion
Good score ! I have a set of Dyna pro MT on my truck, 2 years and very happy with them, They are a little noisier compare to previous Michelin LTX but they are way better tire IMO, I don't mind a little road noise for a better product . -
I have had good experience with Auto Trader, worth spending a few $$ for a fast sale, You should have no problem selling an Accord in good shape, Btw: what are you asking for it ?

Another vote for Cabela's Guidewear,

Duties can be a hit and miss depending on the amount and item description, goods made in USA have no duties, I have had good luck with US postal service. And the worst luck with UPS, they even charge a brokerage fee. I don't buy from sellers who use only UPS for shipping.

Video is not working for me but judging by the picture, it looks like a banner day on the ice. WTG

Check out Honda HR-V, it has the proven 1.8 lt Civic motor in it and available AWD, a little less $$ than crosstrek, Bought one for the wife in Aug 2015 when it first came out, Already 55000 km on it Not a single issue, She loves it.

Pilot has a timing belt. Not sure about the others.
-
Pilot or Highlander, both very reliable, Test drive both and go with whichever feels good for you, If you buying used, never assume the last owner has done all the required maintenance prior to the sale, specially transmission service, timing belt etc, unless they kept paper records. Negotiate the price to allow for a complete inspection by your choice of auto shop and all required maintenance, Consider a transmission cooler if vehicle is not equipped with it as Drifter mentioned.

Very sorry to hear the sad news.

10 colors is always "The guest's rod" in my boat ?
-
Not much better in the morning either, guys with boat/trailer backed in the water, headlights on and still offloading $hit from the truck. Launching in the middle of the double ramp, Boat tied on the ramp while they are gone to park their truck and trying to figure out the parking meter or looking for some change ?
-
This needs to be posted on all boat ramps, specially at Bluffers.

Full synthetic reel grease with PTFE I use Super Lube grease and oil on all my reels, very smooth and never have freezing problems, https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.1000735868.html?eid=PS_GOOGLE_HD+%7C+PLAs_Shopping+%7C+All+Products_All+Products&gclid=CIGc0eLD4NECFRC1wAodAa0MUA I have used Cal's reel grease in the past and it is excellent too. I believe Shimano's reel grease is good as well but no personal experience.

I like the fact that you can get any brand of motor with Alumacraft or Starcraft. Ranger makes one of the best Aluminum boats IMO but they are super expensive.
