Both shows are still listed on the website but come up as "no episodes this week". I would assume if they were dropped by the network they would be nowhere to be found on wfn.tv. I have to guess they will be back once some new episodes are in the can.

I didn't think you could use rockbass bluegill or sunfish as live bait...learn something new everyday I tried chicken livers this spring and found they just flew off the hook on the cast. After the fact I read that people will wrap them up in a mesh like you would salmon eggs. Maybe that works better...

x2 on the wake baits. I have been doing very well on both the rapala dtfat01 and lucky craft wake action. Bang for the buck go with the rap.

Good read. The swimbait I have been trying over the past week has produced nothing for me. I have a feeling firetiger is not a great swimbait colour for clear water. Awesome action on it though...

pardon my ignorance but what is a slammer? I looked on the bass pro site and all that popped up looked like something you would troll for marlin... also my best smallie baits this year have been upsized poppers and wakebaits.

Further to Marko's comment on drag settings, if you are a baitcast kinda guy, I find using one and leaving it in free spool works phenomenally. The other comments about creek mouths are also bang on. Also I have a question for the carp experts myself. I've noticed the carp turning from a light golden colour earlier in the year to a very dark brownish gold, especially on their backs. Is this a result of warmer water temps or what?

you should see some peoples homes when they aren't trying to sell! A number of years ago I worked for a junk removal company. We saw some pretty horrifying living conditions...can anyone say dog waste stockpiled in a hallway closet? Don't worry I'm pretty sure they let it dry out on the carpet before they threw it in there. Lots of hoarding type behaviour out there too. Very sad to see especially among the elderly. I think it might have been something about living through the depression that turned a lot of our elders into habitual collectors.

I suppose I was extremely lucky that I realized almost right out of school that office work wasn't my bag, so it was a relatively easy choice to go back and pursue my current gig full time. If you are good at sales you will bounce back! A B.A. is nothing compared to experience and the ability to build rapport with a customer. The trick is selling that to a perspective employer. Maybe someone is looking for a sales rep in the fishing industry...that would be sweet!

I've witnessed both the open mocking of a customer once they left the store as well as an associate telling a cashier that "answering customer questions is a waste of time and if they buy the wrong thing they'll bring it back. Get them out the door!". Both instances at the mississauga location.
