  1. I hate all reports with shameless product plugs. There are aome people on this site that do just that btw. The tv shows are the same. They over-promo their sponsors so much that it actually makes me more cynical. Most pro-staffers get very few perks and not much discount. I wouldn't bother from what I have seen. Not that anyone would want me anyways:) Landry
  2. I discovered them earlier this summer by chance on youtube and bought two of their albums. Nice vid.
  3. I like your reports a lot, despite the heavy plugs for products. I guess if u t sponsored it is something u need to do. Landry
  4. That is huge. Congrats!!!!
  5. Great vid and love that band. Trampled by turtles.
  6. Bill. I wasn't bothered by your post. Just felt bad for the guys as they were proud of their day/post. I like this board. We r approachable and welcoming unlike some other boards out there.
  7. I was not aiming any slight towards the original poster. Looks like you had a great time! I once fished the salmon run enthusiastically. After a while, most steelheaders tire of river salmon fishing. I meant no offense. I don't know Bill and he is likely a great guy - I just thought his post was smug and all-knowing. Like I said he is likely a good man. I rarely river fish anymore after being a diehard for 20 years. I got sick of the competitiveness, bravado and territorial pissing. I enjoy being out in a boat far more these days. Have not really steelheaders much for the last 8 years or so.
  8. You are right on that comment but you were there once so way rain on their parade. That was rude and all mighty sounding.
  9. I wanna fish with that guy. Priceless.
  10. Look for it on the web. U will find similar in states. Add 3000 to the average American price is a good estimate.

  12. The luck e strike rc stick is a great cheap bait. Basically a vision 110 rip off with junk hooks. I am gonna order some duos after hearing about them here. When is the 110 coming out?
  13. The curado is a great overall choice. Revo winch is good for big blades but it will be hard to fish with speed. It's kind of a specialty reel. On the cheap side the cardiffs are affordable and I have had three that have all been durable. Abu C reels do not last long. I have the revo toro and it is a great all around reel. Good for big plastic and everything but big #10 blades. But it will do that in a pinch too.
  14. Very nice thick fish. Way to go.
  15. He wants them to at least engage in a discussion and call him back. Maybe offer him some kind of option. Is that too much to ask spinnerbait?
  16. That is the worst PR response I have ever seen. Apologizing while justifying your actions is the worst way to make amends or get new customers. It sent red flags up for me.
  17. Bryson's marine is closest or there is a free launch on east side of the lake on kashagawigamog lake rd about ten minutes past Iingoldsby. The entrance into canning is okay this year.
  18. Fire line crystal. Awesome senko line. Floats and it is visible. I attach 8lb flouro and u can see slightest movement.
  19. I lost a st Clair muskie yesterday that was easily over 52" and grossly fat. It was the buggest fiah i have ever Seen on that lake in person. She wallowed on the surface at the boat after nipping my bucktail in the figure eight. We tried to net her twice and she was lightly hooked and got off. I have played it over in my head a hundred times. She wounded me badly. I got a 43"er but I think the fish I lost craps that big.
  20. Sounds simple. Thanks guys. And you are right. I should do this regularly. Appreciate the help. Landry.
  21. Minn kota gets great customer reviews on basspro and cabelas website. BPS not so much. You get what u pay for. You may get lucky but it seems like they often do not last long. Landry
  22. Got a ton of braid in my prop thanks to some donkey today. I have never removed my prop on my 2007 optimax. I am assuming it is easy and I think it is a 1-1/16 socket. It says to tighten to 55lbs. Do I need a torque wrench or can I just tighten without one???? Need some help and want to do this before Monday. Thanks. Landry.
  23. I've done that before too. I'm sure almost everyone has.
