  1. Ya, I've been peppered several times duck hunting. Nothing that's broken the skin. But I'm lucky I haven't lost an eye! Honestly. Some people are either total asses, or just plain stupid. I've also seen guys jump shooting, and not realize what was on the other side of the trees. Until their shot hammers up against a cottage and someone comes running out screaming their head off. It's an embarrassment for all hunters. Bunch of duck dynasty wannabes.
  2. A guy from my hometown was shot on Tuesday and air lifted to London in serous condition. You gotta be carefull out there.!

  13. Looks like the kids are going to need some serious rain gear tonight! In my neck of the woods anyways.
  14. My one buddy uses a nitro piston hand pellet gun. Not sure if its legal though.
  15. According to the regs, you are allowed to hunt in Ontario with a pellet gun. Page 23. "Air and pellet pistols with a muzzle velocity less than 152 metres (500 feet) per second may be used for hunting in Ontario (see restrictions on page 24)" http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/stdprodconsume/groups/lr/@mnr/@fw/documents/document/239841.pdf I hunt grouse with a pellet gun. And so do several of my hunting buddies. Great for grouse during the bow moose season, when you don't want to be banging away in the bush.
  16. Great photos!.. And that is once beauty canoe you have there!!
  17. To the best of my knowledge, you need a hunting licence to hunt. It makes no difference weather you are using a gun, bow or pellet gun. You still need a valid hunting licence.
  18. The area and property is great. To many buildings to maintain though!! No time to relax.
  19. Nice HH! Make sure you post some pics of then standing beside mountains of candy!
  20. Good stuff Rob! That little dalmatian is adorable!
  21. This is my first time taking the wee lad out on Halloween. Meeting his cousins, and am going to hit a few houses in the neighborhood. Lets see some pics of your kids!
  22. That's wild. Almost got the guys hand!
  23. The shop I buy ammo in told me I might not be able to get my Cotote caliber for a while. Maybe as long as a year. So I bought his last 3 boxes. Don't know if I got duped or not. But I have ammo for a year. I've heard a few reasons for the shortage. There was a big discussion about changing some gun laws. So as I understand, some people started to stock pile. So rounds like my Coyote gun (.222) may not be available for a little while. I'm sure the ammunition companies make a mint on NATO rounds. Not rare Preditor rounds.
  24. That's really to bad to hear. Cudose to her dog.
