Exactly. It takes a little common sense. I know it shouldn't, but it still shocks me that some people (Doofus for example) still don't understand the importance of posting specific details on fishing locations. Then to make it worse, they get confrontational when their posts gets locked.....

I grew up fishing the maitland in the Wingham area. I only fished for bass as a kid. But there where a few guys that had the salmon figured out, and they always seemed to do really well.

Alex's 1st birthday Sunday. I'm having about 40 people over for a BBQ. Heading to 6-mile tomorrow. Cleaning and preparing the house Saturday. Monday plans are up in the air.

IMO, asking this question on an open forum is far worse than asking for fishing spots.. Well... The answers are the problem, not the question. Not to sound like a sap. But a nice crown land campsite is a precious thing. Specially within 2 hours of the big stink. I can only think or a dozen or so. But they where found through lots of research and ground pounding. I'd tell you where they where. But because of the good old Internet, you need to show up a day before the long weekend to get a spot.

It's a man made lake... Made for man to use and abuse. It was bound to happen. no offense, but I feel more angry about lakes like 6-mile, and the thousands of other natural lakes that have been severely abused in the past 100 years.

I have a lindy one. But the place I got it is no longer in business. It worked great. Don't use it much. I would be very surprised if Bass Pro doesn't have them.
