  5. i must admit the traffic can be a serious pain in the ass. i would say the simple solution is he pays the same amount regardless.. and if he chooses to leave a bit early that is his call... but to make it fair he has to pay the same amount.
  6. i do notice them every now and again. if you do find an add cutting a picture in half just click once on the picture and i find it figures itself out after that. give it a try, seems to work for me

  8. im sorry if this is off topic, but Mr Retodd it must take some effort to put a capital letter at the beginning of every word you type! hell i dont like to do it at the beginning of a sentence on the message boards..

  19. i got to basspro around 8:30 and there was already about 30 people outside the door. i did not know about the sale of the hds 5 at this point so i figured everyone was just there for the sale. store opened at 9 everyone went in and i noticed a big line up at the electronics section. i wasnt sure what it was for as i was checking the flyer and didnt see anything that was that good of a deal. i noticed the stack of hds 5's lined up by the counter and saw everyone getting one and i was surprised to see so many people getting the same unit, so i asked how much they were selling them for they told me 299. i got in line quickly, the guy who i asked said they had 150 units. i must say there may have been lots of people who knew in advance but there were also many who didnt know like me who simply were in the right place at the right time. while waiting in line you could see lots of people calling people to tell them about the sale, so i dont think everyone who got one knew about it before the store opened. i gotta give it to basspro, i was quite pleased with the sales and i got everything i went for. i was also told the story behind it all was same as a few have mentioned already.. the eagle unit on sale for 299 didnt come in so lowrance subsituted it with the hds 5.
  20. good report aaron.. how do you normally rig your tip up??

  22. i havent fished up at glen echo but i did buy my outboard from them this past summer and my limited dealings with the owner were quite good. he was friendly, informative and pretty reasonable. he showed me around the camp and even let me test out the boats , he definetely didnt seem like a dick or a crook. again i havent fished there, just did some business with the guy.
  23. is this one off hwy 141 just past the town of rosseau?? not sure if i have been to bait on the lake.. i always get my minnows on the way up
  24. use an aerator to keep the minnows alive and to keep the water from freezing. they sell battery operated ones at some fishing stores. cool report cheers
  25. the water in port perry is pretty crap.. we use bottled watter for most of our drinking water... also for coffee and tea we use bottled water as the local water clogs up alot of the filters in the coffeemakers and also tastes like crap. the water also leaves a nice crusty stain on most taps and bath tubs and showers. just lovely i brush my teeth and shower with port perry water and thats about it.. all other drinking water comes from the bottle.
