Inuvik, North West Territories and the Arctic Ocean

Yup, awesome, and inspirational. Nuff said!!!!! -
I actually find the above statement a bit disturbing. I want to make sure I get back home safe and sound. Be that as it may, as you say, its your choice. That kit you bought from CTC, open it and confirm the contents. The flashlights do not come with batteries, you have to supply them. Otherwise if you are checked and it does not work, you get fined.

 You don't have to remind me about Momma protecting her brood. I ran into it first hand back when I fished for specks wading wet in sneakers and shorts. Was in tall grass. Saw the little ones scurrying for cover,...then.....the attack came, from Momma. I got hissed and chirped at, and she got me in the ankles with her beak. My bud had to grab a big brushy branch to hold her away from me.

It might also be a Lynx, they have a freakish growl. http://www.entertonement.com/clips/xxfbgkfsbq--Eurasian-lynx-lynx-lynx-Europe-wildcat-woods-animal-sound-AudioMicro-bird-Animal-Voice-wild-track-sound-eurasian-Lynx-europe-Wildcat-woods-Animals-Cats http://www.entertonement.com/clips/hmszrbvptx--Lynx-cat-predator-Europe-AudioMicro-cat-Animal-Voice-Lynx-Predator-europe-Animals-Cats

quick driving question London to Fort Francis
tjsa replied to bow slayer's topic in General Discussion
Just did a quick(read not accurate) measurement using Mapsource. Stateside 950 miles, Canada 1000 miles. Stateside is probably faster with their highway system, but going around Superior if you have never done it before is much more picturesque. -
All these many years on this site, and, ....................oh heck, never mind. Call them pickerel if you want to,
-
NO, NO, NO, the one thing that lots of people get wrong on this site is that a pickerel is not a pickerel. ITS A WALLEYE!!!!

GOOGLE MAIL!!!!!! My workplace has used it for 6 yrs. now. You can save documents, pictures, etc. in the documents area, all grouped together so you can find it fast. It is super easy, and it is off site. I can't believe it's free really. I have a google account that I use for my personal e-mail, and still have my 50 free invites since 3 or more years ago. Standard available storage is around 7500 megs. With all the crap my sisters have sent me, I have only used 3 percent of my total available storage, Want me to use one of my invites???????

Also, wear a headlight with a red gel cover, or red LED's, easier on your eyes and the worms don't retreat from it as much in my experience.

Ummmmmmmmmmmm........... yup!!!!!!!! Got this one trolling a hammered brass 2 bladed, 2 hook walleye harness, no float beads, 18" behind a 1/4 oz. bottom bouncer out of a stocked lake. You can see the lure below the fish. Another pic of it is also my avatar.

Are you trying to copy a link from a website? Sometimes that does not work. Open it in a new browser window or tab, then right click on the address bar at the top. That highlights the web address, select copy. Come back to reply to this thread, and right click and select paste in the reply area.

Nope, I prefer........actually is comes naturally........to break my stuff all by my lonesome. Well, Rick fixed something, just not to my liking is all, Easy fix, press and hold the ctrl key on the bottom left of your keyboard, and hit the + key on right hand side or upper right of your keyboard. It instantly increases the font size, do it a couple times or more for your liking. You can also press the ctrl & - keys to decrease the font size.

yesterday afternoon sometime the font size changed to a larger font, along with the post topics being in a light blue. I find I am needing the larger font more now. It's easy to deal with, ctrl+ changes it easy. Not that I have a problem with the larger font, and the topics in a light blue. When I clicked on a topic and went back, the topics I did click on were in black, so I knew I had read them or responded to them. A couple of hours ago, it all changed, all topics are in a much smaller font, and all are black, even the clicked on topics, and I have not changed any settings whatsoever. Any ideers????????? I liked the topics in a light blue colour(or whatever colour), and the ones I have read in black. Font size I can deal with.

On the first day, God created the dog and said: 'Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks past. For this, I will give you a life span of twenty years.' The dog said: 'That's a long time to be barking. How about only ten years and I'll give you back the other ten?' So, God agreed. On the second day, God created the monkey and said: 'Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I'll give you a twenty-year life span.' The monkey said: 'Monkey tricks for twenty years? That's a pretty long time to perform. How about I give you back ten like the Dog did?' And God agreed. On the third day, God created the cow and said: 'You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer's family. For this, I will give you a life span of sixty years.' The cow said: 'That's kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years... How about twenty and I'll give back the other forty?' And God agreed again. On the fourth day, God created humans and said: 'Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life. For this, I'll give you twenty years.' But the human said: 'Only twenty years? Could you possibly give me my twenty, the forty the cow gave back, the ten the monkey gave back, and the ten the dog gave back; that makes eighty, okay?' 'Okay,' said God, 'You asked for it.' So that is why for our first twenty years we eat, sleep, play and enjoy ourselves. For the next forty years we slave in the sun to support our family. For the next ten years we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren. And for the last ten years we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone. Life has now been explained to you.

Now that is quite a neat photo Vinnimon, and I can see that happening. Never thought cleats and nose hooks would be that rugged to lift a boat walleyemen. Just never heard of anybody completely flipping a boat to repair it. Obviously that shop has the space and the tools to do the work. Sure isn't "Orange County Chopper's" shop,
-
I only use it on my walleye trolling rods, not for casting. You do have to watch it, it will get in behind the bail roller if you are using a spinning reel because of its smaller diameter. Never had a problem with it in over 6 yrs. I use a section of wooden hockey stick to wrap it around to break it loose from a snag if that happens. Darn near put the gunwales of the boat or canoe underwater doing it though.
-
Well, if ya wanna put 4 or 5 bolt holes through your transom, I am sure it would work. Unless they made a jig for the transom. Spinning that weight around on the single eye hook on the front of the boat though, I think that's risky. Seen too many loose front end eye's. Even on my 12 footer.
