  1. Wasn't going to go but got free weekday tickets. Took the wifey on a date. $17 to park downstairs indoors. Left coat in car 4-5 food trucks in the north wing. Twiggy the water skiing squirl. Boat prices up a chunk. Looked into the largest yacht. 55 ft. Thought might me $1-1.5 M. Sorry $2.5 M PWC. Seedoo. $9-20K. Mastercraft ski/wakeboard boats. A neighbour got a used one out of the US few years ago. Get this: $120k-$250k -for the biggest. 26 ft. Not a lot of prices visible. Gotta ask. Not a lot of people. There's a tally at the entrance- Daily sales. Between 50-70 boats/day. Somebody's buying.
  2. Cooks Bay still pretty wide open off shore. Warm next day or 2. Colder next week. Hope those hut operators can make a buck or 2 this year.

  4. I think you are referring to Bombardier Inc. they make planes and trains. BRP was once part of them but was split out. BRP= Bombardier Recreational Products They make some cool stuff although I own none of them.
  5. Either poor cold weather design or poor inspection.
  6. Noticed online that they have a significant manufacturing presence in North Carolina, Wisconsin and Mexico. Also a bit in Europe.
  7. Looking at the stock for my RSP. Theoretically they should do well selling Skidoos, Seadoos, CanAm ATVs and Evinrude outboards into the US with the low Canadian dollar. Stock is way down. Anybody know anything good or bad about them?
  8. The kind of boats and equipment I'm interested in will be available to check out at the sportsman/fishing shows in March. I do like to see what some people will fork out for wakeboard boats and PWC that I see at the cottage all the time.
  9. Hang in there, Bro!!!!

  18. Good work. Looks like ash boards
  19. Can't go wrong with heavy line, 1-2 oz pyramid weights, assortment of larger hooks. Dropshot with any meat you can find. Maybe smaller stuff to catch bait.
  20. Home made or for real?
  21. Sounds like separation anxiety. Should come around in a day or 2. The scent from Dad and the phone voice might help. Getting a buddy from somewhere might help. As long as it's not some other medical problem making him lethargic. Fever. Pain etc.
  22. Awesome 42 miles out. Crazy. 2 engines?
  23. I have rod holders Use them for skis Prefer holding my walleye rod. Nothing like feeling the strike.
  24. I'll give this past year a "C" Walleye down Salmon down Muskie level Weather great. No bad algae bloom on Pigeon Can't wait til May.
  25. I had enquired on this site about a setup for trolling for walleye on Pigeon. A Tekota 300 with line counter was suggested. I picked up a used one. Found it to be too heavy to hold for hours and cold in the fall. So Santa brought plan B. Quantum Accurist PT/rod combo from Cabelas. $150 Has a flipping switch for easy line let out. Will use the new coloured PP for help with depth. Hope it works out.
