  1. Worked in a plant that used millions of gallons of paint and solvent, all the pumps ran on the air compressor WITH GROUNDING STRAPS!!! edit : and plastic or aluminum piping
  2. Years ago I ran a pretty big amp on a CB that drew a lot of amperage, found it cheaper to cut the ends off a set of booster cables to wire it up than to buy the same gauge wire by the foot. edit: Shops that do high power automotive stereo installations will have it too, but not cheap.
  3. It is also available on the " Made In Canada IPTV " addon for Kodi
  4. Bell Fibe you have to get the BE$T package to get it or add it on as a $ingle Channel
  5. Well, I didn't use the gas power washer last year, so it had half a tank of 2 year old gas with Seafoam treatment in it. I know it is not truly a stabilizer but I topped it up with fresh Seafoamed gas and started on the second pull and powerwashed all the house siding Not recommending this a standard practice but I think it played a big part of me lucking out on not having to get into a carb cleaning or big repair bill.
  6. Watch out for sanctuary areas at Port Colborne where it remains closed an additional 2 weeks.
  7. I always did small cork poppers and sponge rubber spiders, top water was more fun.
  8. 5 people there and 3 gave notice, obviously you are missing something seriously wrong with that company, that others have figured out. Stand back and have a look again.
  9. Rained a little bit but could hear thunder off to the north on several occasions, everytime I looked on the radar it was passing us by on the north shore of Lake O.
  10. Get a hold of recent stocking data, years ago I bushwacked by topo sheet and compass into a bunch of Haliburton Lakes only to find nada or smallies Edit: judging by the location you could probably replace smallies with pike, big ones if you are lucky , hammerhandles if you not.
  11. I think when a call is in question they should go to Twitter for say five minutes and have the fans tweet whether it is off side or not
  12. Whether you agree with a search or not , I believe they only need a warrant to search a dwelling, vehicles are fair game, not sure if it is still that way but the powers to search were more comprehensive for fish and game offences than the criminal code. Never forget going duck hunting with a friend who was a CO, going down a back road about 5 am and he says quick pullover, it was garbage day and don't he run back with a flashlight and check the garbage of a suspected poacher for evidence for a warrant , I guess. Glad he didn't find anything or maybe the hunt would have been off for the morning

  14. I know Greg doesn't play on Loan Me a Dime, but it is one of my ten best songs ever. Still play a lot of Warren Hayes and Government Mule if you like that sort of stuff. edit: maybe that is Greg on Hammond, my bad

  17. Actually if they suspect a violation it doesn't matter if you have a licence or not.
  18. Me thinks too many here are getting their legal facts from U.S. cop and lawyer shows.
  19. It's not the CO's that are the problem , it's the RCMP, the present federal government has given then free rein to make up regulations and decisions concerning classification that should require legislation, they are NOT a legislative body, totally overstepping their mandate.
  20. If you got a problem with this as a fisherman , you definitely don't want to take up hunting and being a firearms owner.
  21. This just crossed my facebook page this morning, might be of interest. Less fumbling than trying to get the tag end back through along side the nail. http://www.orvis.com/news/fly-fishing/video-tie-nail-knot/
  22. Vaguely remember fishing Blues out of Port Colborne with dad in the late 50's. They were a smaller Sauger like fish with big eyes, never much more than a pound or two. We'd fish them not unlike the deepwater perch fishery of today as they were a colder water species than the Yellow Pickeral. They were only native to Lakes Erie, Ontario and the Niagara River, never were native to any of the inland lakes that cough up the occasional blue morph Walleye. Edit: it was funny how they were Blue Pickerel in Ontario but cross the river/border to Buffalo and they were called Blue Pike and really they were neither a pike or a pickerel.

  24. There was a pretty good population of largemouth in Jordan going back as far as I can remember, they got hit really hard by bass fishermen in the 80's and the silt situation pretty much did the fishing in for them. Was also a pretty decent place for icefishing for pannies in winter about the same time, still a decent place for carp and cats. The NPCA owns the old marina ,I understand they enforce a no gas outboard policy now.
  25. Most of the Sticklebacks I've seen, we caught in minnow traps in Haliburton in streams and beaver ponds, usually pretty cool water streams some of which had Specs in them. Not sure if they were the same species though.
