You really should get into what your rrsp are invested in. What funds and what mer Management expense ratio. Most are 2-2.5% but could be up to 6%. This comes off the top you pay good and bad years. Just about every mutual fund has a ETF equivalent at .05%. Your plan may not let you get the etf's but you should ask. Because you have a db and dc plan you don't need to be crazy with rrsp. For mine I needed to provide a pension for my wife and then some exacter when inflation starts to get tight. You should still have emergency fund setup like 3 months of bills and your tfsa is a good place for that.

Learning about investment that can be held in your RRSP and your TFSA is a huge subject. So read Wealthy Barber and look up Idiot Millionaire Derek Foster his 1st 3 books are very good for building foundation. The last couple he moved to options. There's money to be made in options but it takes a big time commitment and lot's of computer time. Remember to send twice the time researching investments . Canadian Money Forum is a good DIY investing site. Has a good real estate thing to.

Several times off rocks in Bowmanville. The only crazy thing that worked was open the bail taking all pressure off the fish then slowly gain a little back. And twice on pier in Newcastle by geese. Now that was quick.

I'm waiting for my 6th correction of 20 % or more. I did panic the first time the other 4 I made out like a bandit. VXP 2 things you are in the stock market every day of your life. Weather you pay cash or credit if you buy anything you are in the markets. And the 5 major banks have paid Div. every year for 175 years strait, not much to worry about.

I started finical planning very young. Have read most books on the subject and have made it to retirement. 7 years'. It's just like building a house, start with the foundation. Daily expense's, weekly expense's, monthly expenses and yearly expense's. This means pay your bills on time, avoid late charges, don't pay weekly insurance that cost more at end of year. And at pay yourself first. (Wealthy Barber) 10%. Then look into pension plans. Everybody should have both tfsa and rrsp to some degree . You need to understand these are just suitcases that you hold investments in. These investments might be GIC,Stocks ,bonds, riets , etf's , mutual funds. Real Estate is also investment it's like buy a job. Financial Planners are a mine field. They are mostly salesman working a commission, banks just as bad as private planners. The best are for fee planners and you need a 1/2 ton on money. Likely 500k. Make sure you study Canadian investments. This is just a small outline something to remember we spend hours and days and weeks researching boats motors, fishing rods, resorts. Your future takes twice the time.

That's another good thing about Reel Magic . Odorless and non toxic. It's primary use is in the Veg/Fruit packaging industry. Guides and rollers are sprayed with this product making them slippery stopping bruising. It's silicone base but don't use the spray from CT that's oil base.
-
Blakemore Reel Majic I use it steelheading and ice fishing. I spray my float and then do 12-15 ft above the float by spray on a clean rag, then spray all guides and then your spool. If you read the bottle it says resists ice, it also keeps your line floating and soft, Even if you get some ice it remove much easier.

You are lucky! My buddy did a 2'fer the lower unit and blew the motor up. He didn't get the rpm's down quick enough.

I would stay in old vegas and take the green rocket to the strip.

Changed many flats on vehicles and boats. Always have my exacter large 4 way and a jack that will do boat trailers. Now I let CAA do it most times.

These outfits are compromise for the amount of time I can surf fish. 1-2 weeks per year and the price I'm willing to pay. Both setups about 1k. The stuff I would like to fish. 7000 series Van Stal reel $1400 only has 5 moving parts and another 7-800 for 12ft Lamaglas surf. Still would run 30lb braid. Diawa has a spinning reel with a 60lb drag only available from Japan. Suitable to Wicked Tuna fish with spinning. 4k. I made a few cast with one but didn't get to test the drag.

I've been to Cape Cod 3 times fishing mostly Stripe Bass but the Ditch has every species. The setups I've bought are 10ft St Croix Mojo surf 1oz - 3oz and a 5500 Shimano Ultergure long cast reel. 30lb braid with 50lb big game leader. This outfit is use casting 8 inch wooden plugs and 2-4oz bucktails. The other is a 9 ft Tica 1-3 oz river rod with a 5500 Penn Spinning reel use mostly for casting spoons and bottom fishing cutbait. Again 30lb braid and 50 lb big game leaders. Both of these setups are surf models so very long butt section would make them impossible for boat or yak fishing. I've bought 3-4 other setups from BPS that I've returned. Anything less than the 5500 series reels just don't cut it. If you take a boat rod to the beach you just cant get the distance so you are kind of in a bind. I talked to many surf guys and 20- 30lb braid main line is about middle of road.

Watch boats fishing on Stellwagon looks boring as hell. The south boys looks fun.

We have all failed our Country. To maintain a population every couple need to have 2.85 children and to grow a population you need to have 4+ children. So the only way to grow our population is immigration, and younger people are the only ones that immigrate . Older established people with money in there country's don't immigrate.
