if you're going to use a hose attached to a tank get the normal buddy heater BUT if you're planning on using 1lbers get the big buddy. I have a big buddy and its great BUT it is heavy if you're a walker. It gets me 8 hours on medium and it warms up my 8X8 pop up really well. I bought a 5lb tank this year and my big buddy heater is going to be a overkill. Remember to store the heater in a garbage bag when you're not using it so spiders don't get in the pilot flame knob. spider webs really jam up the pilot.

we can work out a trade ( ice fishing stuff, etc) . for the stoves.

the stoves are for 1lbers. It would have been nice for them to work with my 5lber.

now that you've mentioned it I think they may be for 1lbs but I'll check when I get home with my 5lb/20lb tank.

I may have a couple old nets that I'm going to get rid of. If you want you can have them and just use it for parts. I'll double check tomorrow and see if they have that part you're looking for. If so they're yours. Bad part is I'm in stouffville.

You can get Bee Pollen at a health store. I've been taking it for the last 3 years and it has work WONDERS! I've had allergies for the last 32 years and nothing has worked as well as this. Prior to Bee pollen I would go through 3 packs of 48 pill Claritin. Now I use maybe 10 a season MAX. You'll see a difference after a month. It taste kindof funny at first but you'll get use to it. Chase it down with Apple Juice and DON'T LOOK at it. Just chug it. I've had a few friends do the same and they've also noticed a difference. If you're allergic to Bee's I do NOT think it'll work for you thou. Good luck, I know how you feel. Nick

how are these with wakes? Are you restricted to smaller lakes? I've always thought about pulling the trigger on one of these.

good tip with the suggestion of a tripod. You want to be able to be in the pictures. I wish my dad would be in some of the pics I have. Just take it slow and enjoy every moment. No need to rush, you'll look back on this years from now and remember every moment like it was yesterday. This is definitely on my bucket list.

Ballantrae ( not maples of ballantrae) would be a good place to play. hwy 48 and just north of St. John's sideroad.

if the huts are left after the deadline they should be fair game! It wouldn't make sense for a good Samaritan wanting to take the hut off the ice to avoid injury be charged for theft or damaging private property.

its a long walk. If you have a sled or ATV you'll make life much easier. Its about 3km to 78 feet.
