You should see the disgusted looks i get when i fire up my 1975 merc 650 and it smokes like a chimney for 2-3 min.....cant kill that thing, they don"t make em like they used to!

Chris. Spray some ether around the primary clutch while it's idling see if the revs come up. then do the same on the mag side. If the revs come up the seal is no good. Also check the choke make sure it's seating properly.

Two ways about it . 1 Cheaters are good where you can only run one rod per person. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SOQ_M2gcDZg 2 Stackers are separate rods off the same cable, slightly more complicated but less knock offs.

I would like to get some downrigger footage this year but I am nervous putting a 300 dollar camera on the end of a downrigger cable. Anyone seen anything else out there on the market other than go pro? I guess I could shop used. I don't need the real time like an strikecam. I just want to be able to view it when I get home.

Camp on the island in dunnville or Chippewa creek. Both almost guarantee a few bent rods.

Im blessed use an ipad with a SIM card ( provided by work) I can see my exact location while out on the lake. I think even without data you can get the maps ( they are preloaded) I'm just not sure about location services, I'm not to techie my self.

I have data on my ipad I was looking at getting the transducer because it's only 175 bucks. That would give me a decent sonar/GPS/topo map combo for 185 dollar total investment...not including ipad.

I like it for trolling, as it keeps my tacks on file. I am considering getting the sonar phone transducer from vexilar to go with my navionics on ipad

I never go anywhere in the winter without my big yellow strap, and my come along . Cheap insurance when your out in the woods in the winter, it could save your life.

Meh ... 292 hp 320 torque does the trick for me if I towed everyday I would rather have the bigger motor. It's pretty much the same motor that came in a mustang with a different tune from what I understand.
