Yes it is an odd winter but how quickly we forget. Many areas of Ontario experienced record if not close to record snow falls last winter, London received over 1 meter of snow in 3 days last year and the highway leading to Sarnia had vehicles stranded for weeks. Here in Hamilton my snow blower got quite the work out from a couple of large dumpings of snow as well. There will be some early spawns and the growing season will likely be a little upside down this year but it is a blink of an eye as far as the earths weather patterns are concerned.

We have been down twice and really enjoy it, the Animal Kingdom wasn't that great in my opinion but really enjoyed the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. There is a restaurant called Pacino's down the main strip outside of Disney ( can't remember the street /hwy #) International Drive I think. Not cheap cost about $100 for 4 of us but food is excellent, steaks cooked on a wood fire grill that were outstanding. Spent a day each time in Cocoa Beach which is nice ( about 45 minute drive), you can see the launch pads for the Kennedy Space center from the beach. You can do the Kennedy Space center tour there as well which is really cool if the space program interests you. Lots of bass guides available in the area for various lakes, just google Orlando fishing guides.

Gerritt, Same thing happened to my brother-in-law a number of years back, he had a minor fender bender. Neither of the vehicles needed repair through the insurance companies, nobody received medical treatment and well documented by police report. 1 year later he gets the notice of a 1 million dollar lawsuit for injuries suffered in the accident (the girl was a " Ballet Dancer" if you know what I mean) and claimed she suffered such severe injuries that she couldn't work anymore. My brother-in-law spoke to the insurance broker in his office and the lawyer over the phone and just basically verified the information that was in the police report. They told him not to worry about it they would take care of it , he was never called to court and the suit was dropped. Just follow up with your insurance company and tell the truth of what you remember, if you don't remember say it or if your not sure say it don't make things up because that is when you get burned. You should be fine.

Many of the times I have crossed were for work training and conferences and never had any issues. Have the conference details and hotel details with you, your green roof displays should be no problem as they are not a sellable product. Never , Ever make up a " BULL " story this is what gets you burned when they uncover it and then we get upset about being hassled. They are there for a reason and when they catch you in a lie they need to uncover why you needed to lie. We have a number of U.S reps coming up this week and have been coming up for years for the Construct Canada Trade show in Toronto and never have any issues. Vice Versa we have company reps attend trade shows in the U.S and as long as your documentation is in order you are fine, no visa is required to attend training or trade shows. They will always ask for proof of accomadations in the U.S for the time you are staying or at least the first night you will be there or the address of the friend or relatives home you will be staying at. They will repeat questions to see if there is hesitation or you can't look them in the eye ,they will dig deeper it is about reading your reactions. Nothing to hide nothing to worry about.

I crossed at least 10 times this year, usually Rainbow or Peace Bridge. I have had no issues ever, I have never been detained. Like said have your paperwork in order and be polite and there shouldn't be any issues.

There has been a 1969 Camaro metallic blue with white rally stripes and completly restored top to bottom on Kijijii for the last month or so for only $7,900. What a deal, at that price I can't belive it has been there for a month! -
Love or hate him, he was a football legend that definately did it his way. Love the Raiders and R.I.P Al Davis, " Just Win Baby!"

Take what ever you can get right now, $12.00/hour pays of more bills than no dollars until you can get something better. you can generally talk to some of your creditors and work some temporary payment options with them until things improve. I had a rough time a couple years back and did this , you would be suprised how much some will work with you when you contact them. As far as debt counselling goes, the only people with the legal power to stop collection actions and interest charges are Trustees in Bankruptcy. There are credit counselling agencies out there that will assist you in negotiating with your creditors for better terms but have no real legal power to stop collections or interest charges. A Trustee will not charge a fee upfront ( walk away from anyone who does)and will generally provide you a free consultation, it does not mean you would have to declare bankruptcy as there are other options. For now try to find work and if it gets too overwhelming don't hesitate to call professionals for help.

You nailed that right on the head Wayne, because that charge was never presented in court it was never addressed as being unenforcable. They truly never believed anyone would have taken this as far as Ron did. Ron say the word when some financial assistance is needed and provide an address, $25-$50 a member here and we could really help out with some costs. As Larry Flint once said " why do I have to keep going to jail to protect your freedoms".

I did not agree with the NDP views but you can never dispute the character and charisma that Jack had. If he was the leader of the Liberals or PC's he definately would have been Prime Minister in my opinion. Rest in Peace Jack , I could only hope to have half of the confidence and motivation you had sir.

That was interesting, I once saw a seagull get hit by something on the surface while fishing Nippissing. Never saw the fish but assumed it was a musky, good sized bite off the side of the bird.

I was there on the Canada Day weekend, the weeds are thick. Fishing is slow but it is expected with this heat, our best results were from drifting along with just a nightcrawler and a splitshot. Suprisingly caught about 5 walleye during the day even though it was hot and sunny, they came from about 10-14 feet of water. Only managed a couple smaller bass, nothing to big. We only had 2 days of fishing so hopefully with 2 weeks you should locate some good fishing.

My brother just left with the boat for a week up north today, I did a complete once over on the boat and trailer with him. New spare and fingers crossed that he has a good trip, I love my brother but I can definitely say he doesn't put the care into the boat that I did. I am hoping to get away with my boy and maybe my daughter too for another night or too of camping. The wife doesn't do the tent thing anymore! Working on having the kids change her mind.

Keep the good news coming, it is very motivational. -
Have had a Legend in the family for about 7 year now the Express 164. It is a narrow 16 footer side console with the max horse 40 4 stroke and has been a great boat. Legends service was excellent through the purchase process and would definitely buy from them again. Should a boat purchase happen again though I would definitely agree with Lew and go full windshield with a top, drier ride on crappy days.
