  1. If you still need some help T.J . I will put my hand up
  2. Great video Brian , those sure are some "tank" lakers you guys got into
  3. I believe that you can't have anymore then your limit at one time in your possesion , dead or alive .
  4. Maybe a cisco , but either way it would look good on a jig !
  5. I have not had very good luck with those preserved minnows , they tend to be a little "fragile" and rip off the hook easy. I now salt up a bunch of shinners in the spring and they last me all year .
  6. Strange timing , wonder what happened ? Happy new year leaf fans !
  7. Way to go Mike , my copy should be arriving today
  8. There is a key# on the key itself not on the ignition that I know of . I know it is too late but a good reminder here is to write down that key # in a safe spot like your mannual (there is an actual spot for it) As for starting it with out a key , I can't help you out there , sorry !
  9. Love the back lake reports , nothing better then being away from the crowds !
  10. Call your local MNR office , they should be able to help you . I built up a great relationship with a MNR biologist in Parry Sound/Bracebridge and he has helped me out with lots of "secret" info and put me onto some great lakes !
  11. Good day for you guys , thanks for sharing
  12. I don't fish for musky (never got into it) but one thing for certain that is a big fish and should be appreciated and respected as such
  13. Have to agree here with Simon and some others , if we had an individual tourney you would have to change the rules around a bit because the musky/pike/walleye guys would have a huge advantage strictly due to the inches ! Guys like me who never fish for musky and walleye but fish mainly for bass and lake trout would be out of contention before it even started Whatever it is though , i'm in for sure
  14. Did you try some gas line antifreeze Simon , maybe you picked up a bad tank of gas somewhere !
  15. Good year for you , thanks for the recap ! Your picture with the buried truck is my kind of fishing , it looks to be in there pretty good . How did you get it out of that mess ?
  16. I was out on the back deck around 0100-0200 and it was definitly a sight to see , I was seeing 3-10 meteorites every minute at that time and I didn't want to go inside in case I was going to miss something !!! They were mostly in the NNE lower/mid horizon and actually around 0100 I seen 4-6 meteors all at the same time traveling side by side in the same direction in the NE horizon , wish I had a camera for that will never see that again
  17. That's pretty intense fishing , thanks for posting
  18. Those boxes are exactly what i'm looking for , I will check them out . That softex stuff looks really good as well for protecting the jig heads , I am going to try and find some and your right Drifter after a couple "snaggle tooth" lake trout the heads can get scratched up pretty good ! Thanks
  19. I know this sounds simple but i'm looking for something to hold my bucktail jigs in place and not allow them to bounce around into each other. I have invested a decent amount of money on these big bucktails for my lake trout jigging and I am finding that they are rubbing on each other causing the paint/hair to get damaged . Is there a box or something out there that will allow me to store/secure them individually and stop them from bouncing around ? I made a small jig box with foam and a box tray (works half decent)but was thinking there might be something better out there . Thanks
  20. I got in on that blowout sale last fall on the guidewear and used it for the season . I purchased the uninsulated parka and bibs and they kept me dry through many a storm this year . There was a problem with my parka that I discovered last month and that was the liner/threading was coming apart so I contacted cabelas and sent it back . I will say this ,cabelas has some of the best customer service I have delt with and they fully refunded my credit card for the parka. I waited for another sale (cyber monday) to purchase another one and I spent the extra 20 bucks and got the "special edition force" parka and couldn't be happier , well worth the extra 20 bucks. As Mike (Solo) had said previous there is way to much velcro on these jackets but on this new one there is just enough ! It also seems to be a better quality jacket then the last one with a few extra features ! I would fully recommend the guidewear especially at this price and even though I did have a quality issue i'm sure it's not the norm.
  21. Love the pictures , simply outstanding The colours on those fish must be something to see in "real time" Thanks for sharing again , bunk !
  22. I wouldn't be screwing around with it ,it would be going right back to the dealer !
