Not worthy of a new thread but interesting and sort of in the theme of Lew's post- I got this Email a few days ago DEAR [email protected] Your online portal login has been temporarily disabled due to too many unsuccessful login attempts. Unlock your account: https://www5.rbcroyalbank.com/di-bin/rbaccess/rbdasd80-1666 Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Do not reply to this e-mail. This would make sense if I actually had an RBC account, Hahahaha

chris.brock replied to chris.brock's topic in General Discussion
nooooooo, I want him to go away because he likes to fragment-ize my BBQ it's a fisher a 14' tinny, a long day in that thing kills my knees and hips, getting old -
Sad to hear Mike. Sounds like you guys were cut from the same cloth. I'm sure he'll still be with you out on the water.

I cuddle well on those cold September nights. -
I've heard quite a few old timers say "naw, there's no use throw'n em back cause they die anyway" very cool story Is that a natural or stocked lake?

Trailcam photos - In the spirit of hunting season
chris.brock replied to Rod Caster's topic in General Discussion
Looks like a pretty busy corridor you're set up on there Chad. It won't be long now. -
Yeah, it looks like an awesome weekend. I have no confidence in catching stocked bows, you guys did great.
-
Real nice fish Pete. Me and a buddy did 8 hours for skis on Sunday and the lake seemed "void of life" as we said a few times that day, skunked. What time did you get it?

Exploring The Ogoki Outback - A Trip To Mojikit Lake

What a big baby eh? Damn, reading this takes me back, I had an absolute blast again, great guys, lots of laughs, what a week! That's the 2nd time I've been lucky enough to experience one of Don's MLO camps and like Rick said, everything (camp, equipment, fishing..) is a step above the rest. Don, if you're reading this, notice how the Borger group gathers wood for the outdoor campfires Thanks Mikey! You're a far better outdoors man than a basketball player. (check out the "sour cream challenge" video) -
Maybe you have more experience than me, but I wouldn't touch that. This summer, I had 4 big poplars dropped by an insured pro (just dropped, I cleaned it up)I didn't feel comfortable felling, it was $425 plus tax. Pretty cool to watch the guy do it too. edit- I think it's possible to buy a vaccine for that ash tree if you wanted to keep it, no idea how much that costs

You muskie guys, when trolling in open water, just troll over a deep basin with no regard to structure? How deep do your baits run? This may help me and Tupelo too.

yeah, lots. I am always held responsible. So should everyone else be held responsible, cops, docs, teachers, politicians... I think Bowslayer should stay in Canada, it's the people with coyote phobia that should consider moving somewhere else.

Exciting times, you deserve it dude, this thing is going to be legendary! Online stuff is cool, but there's something about a hard copy. -
Strange Salmon In Pt. Credit Marina!!! (Video)
chris.brock replied to DRIFTER_016's topic in General Discussion
Many ghastly things happen at the Port Credit Marina. -
You yourself said "this isn't a democracy, it's a dictatorship with many heads", and I agree. So what did your vote accomplish?

From talking to trappers in Haliburton, I know there isn't any Lynx there so I suspect none down there either.
-
Wow, you had a great year (it's not even over yet). Best report I've seen in a while, nice ski with Pete and nice stache in another pic.
-
Yes, bass too. Some limited pike and walleye have invaded but they are tough to target since there low numbers. There's lots of nearby stocked lakes with year round seasons for trouts.

I did an online search for Lure King and Wrinkles and can't find anything. I have a feeling the company is toast.
-
Canadian Tire used to sell these cheap hammered copper and orange spoons called something like "Krinkles". They only sold the one colour and the one size. Myself and a few guys loved that spoon. Can't find them anymore. Lucky Strike has something similar but it's not the same. I have a retired one left I won't use, it's hanging up. I brought it to BPS a few years ago and asked an employee if he had ever seen these. He said no, but funny, there was another guy in just an hour ago asking the same thing.

Great sled, solid Phazer engine, good for ice fishing and fun for the trails too, I'm a Yammi guy too. Anytime! I will likely do a G2G thing again in early March, see if we can get more than just Kewley and I out, haha Shawn, do you get a new sled every 6 months? Hahaha What's the story?
-
What did you pick up Shane? I'll still get lots of hours in a boat I'm sure. Then, first ice = biggies bite!

Yeah it's logical, it's a comparison of 2 NHL teams. I've watched the Leafs in Tampa a few times too. You're the internet wiener steve, hands down. Go leafs and go Jays!
