  1. It's plumbed the right way, the pump pushes water through the heater (it doesn't suck water through)
  2. I appreciate your help Michael. The pump only has a bleed, there's nowhere to add water to prime it. It seems to me that the pump SHOULD self prime if the tub is full (if piped properly) Me too? /\ /\ /\ But all that plumbing in the picture is new and done differently than what was coming from the factory. I'm guessing my set up doesn't prime well.
  3. The old system had a small circulation pump and a big jet pump. My new system just uses 1 pump. That kinked hose is the way I closed off the old circulation plumbing.
  4. A replacement for my obsolete heater was $550! Whole new system was $720. Tried bleeding the pump screw. Filled it through the filter, yes. What's a prime function? Pretty sure it doesn't have this.
  5. I don't like posting NF questions, but the knowledge on here is too valuable to ignore. My heater died. It wasn't much more money to buy a whole new heater, spa pack and pump. That's what I did. Now I have all new, up to date mechanics in there. I got it all plumbed in and wired up, without electrocuting myself. The plumbing is different than what would come from the factory. I think that's part of the problem. I am getting a flow error message. There was lots of air in the system initially, I got most of it out. I can't get enough out though. I've watched all the Youtube stuff and tried bleeding everything, tried everything else too. I'm hoping somebody has crazy trick to get the air lock out?
  6. Like Blaque, U of G on a Thursday night was blasting the Hip, Pearl Jam, Nirvana and STP. I find it weird how the special people that have the talent and charisma to become rock stars, also have a definite problem with self destruction.
  7. lucky #$$@!!
  8. You guys posted the 1st OFC ice report of the season, beating me out by a day or less. I remember that. I am actually fine with this weather. November was a piece of cake, the long term forecast is warm, next weekend 11 degrees here. I'll get out on the ice later. For now, I'm enjoying not freezing my nuts off.
  9. Catchin' giant skis without even tryin"??? Wow! Very pretty looking specimen too.
  10. morbid curiosity good come back, I will give you that, hope you get it healed up
  11. You need some bar stool, business consultation. 1st intermission phone call coming.
  12. I love reading about your latest adventure as soon as I possibly can, but from a business stand point, I don't think you should have the online reports competing with CFG. I would release them months after they come out in CFG, JMO. I know I'm cheaper than dirt, likely some others are too. Also, I don't know if that was a good marketing strategy mentioning that Colin and I are related . He's the younger brother who's more sensible and mature than his older brother. I love my brother's writing but I'm obviously biased. Super cool Mike, sounds like everything is rolling along good!
  13. Post a picture of it.
  14. This is relevant to the topic. I'd consider us friends. We don't pull any punches with each other. So we don't agree, so what, there's no hard feelings. That's how friends are IMO. With the people I consider friends, there's no high school girl, drama stuff.
  15. TV news tonight said the US is averaging 1 mass shooting per day. They define a mass shooting as 4 or more dead including the gunman. There were 2 today, Ca and Ga. What the hell?
  16. Over the hills and far away Patience, GNR if you're gonna sing do Pink Houses
  17. We like pics Shane. We like videos with sound better. You're happy and can't put it down = you made the right choice
  18. Anyone want to guess the weights of these fish from the Chutes? Just for fun. I still remember the exact weights. There's some different photography styles in the pics. The winner gets a free trip with Chotchkies House to the Waterford Ponds. http://ontariofishingcommunity.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=79905&hl=chutes
  19. Exactly. Why jump down his throat. If he attacked you go nuts, but he was giving his opinion for Krattor. Krattor will do what he wants to do in the end. Good way to alienate members here.
  20. I'm not gonna sugar coat it, JMHO though. They secretly excluded you for some reason. Are you going to grovel to remain "friends" and still keep your self respect? Real friends don't interact like that.
  21. Nope, I agree with you. Some pics there's no way to tell if it's 8lbs or 18 lbs. Dave, you're hiding your hands in that Beteau pic. If you're 6', I would guess around 22 lbs.
  22. I don't see what you're blabbing about.
  23. Pretty sure you'll be happy with that FX4 Gallie. I wouldn't go eco boost either. Kinda sad we're not Ranger buds anymore though.
  24. Cool report, very pretty fishing spot for sure. Myself, I don't prefer the sweeter ryes like CR or 40 Creek. I would likely enjoy Silk Tassel more than that expensive stuff but I drink rye with caffeine free diet coke, ice cold and with lots of ice. I am disappointed to learn you are drinking while on the water, shame on you.
  25. I'm likely dating myself, but we would have to get up super early, drive across the border, buy the NY licence, then come back and fish. If it's available online now, not much of a pita. Water clarity. If you want to fish the bar, wind strength and direction. Pipeline = pumphouse drift, see Bob above I would head straight to the bar because it's less technical and can be crazy good. I remember some days, 3 guys in the boat, with lots of triple headers of lakers all over 8 lbs, up to 15 lbs. And we just used heavy jigs, white twister tails. No shiners or slinkies or 3 way rigs.
