  1. China would never do it, and you need China to make it work. If China did do it, their manufacturing would get more expensive and you might see a nice bump here.
  2. Really scary stuff. I worry about the future for our kids (and their kids).
  3. I got it on PPV this past week.
  4. All is Lost is worth seeing if you haven't yet. liked it better than Dallas Buyers CLub and American Hustle. Haven't seen the other one. Wolf of Wall Street and Prisoners are 2 more I'd recommend.
  5. That's pretty funny. I'm a pretty liberal guy in general, but this gov needs to go. Or at least call an election and give everyone a choice.
  6. I'll say this as well - other than routine maintenance, that rav4 needed NOTHING done. It was bullet proof.
  7. We had one for 10+ yrs and it was a great vehicle, though if I were looking today I'd be checking out the subaru forester. It won't get the gas mileage of a rav4 or crv, but it's probably a better and safer ride.
  8. Well deserved! Congratulations, Mike.
  9. Ha - thanks guys. Much appreciated.
  10. Anyone fish the pickerel river? How different is it from the French? On a map it looks like one system but I rarely hear about it so wonder what it'd be like to try.
  11. Yeah, and if he gets a call he likely has to go right away. Think they have to stay within a certain distance of the region and be ready to go to work at any time if called in (hence the truck). Just a guess.
  12. Before you tar and feather him keep in mind he could have been on-call during that time (as in, carries a phone and can get called in at any tiem to deal with trouble calls or emergencies), in which case he'd be driving a hydro vehicle wherever he goes. I am not 100% sure, but believe that's common practice.
  13. Good for the lakes. Much needed.
  14. There's a chance the guy stopped there intentionally to scam you. It happens in/near the city.
  15. Wondering the same thing. Didn't it used to be on march break? Why the change?
  16. Great choice. We picked up one of those as well. Perfect for car camping.
  17. Wasn't saying it was....honestly just wondered. We get a couple of those in our yard through the summer (also in Oakville), and I wanted to know which type it is. When the tufts are down it is hard to differentiate in the dark.
  18. Neat. Curious - how do you tell between a screech and a saw whet?
  19. +1 on Eureka. LeBarons has a pretty good selection. Sail as well (though LeBaron is priced better, I believe)
  20. Or buy fresh sardines. Oilier than a cisco, and have a similar profile.
  21. My impression was that Cdn boat prices were higher than their US counterparts anyway. If so, funny that the difference in exchange rate has a direct proportional impact on pricing upwards.
  22. Took our young kids and they loved it, as did I. Would go again, to be honest. Recommend going early in the day if it's possible for you, as the crowds were pretty heavy in the afternoon. That was a month or two ago, so may have cooled off since then.
  23. Pretty light fine(s) considering. Should be put out of business. You should change the title of the thread to include Andy Myers Lodge so that it gets picked up better by google searches on the place.
  24. Entropy - i wouldn't worry about the US. If Port Perry ever goes to war with Lindsay, it sounds like you guys are in trouble.
