  1. Well, they are finally here spawning in the rivers, it's only 2 days later than the last three years that I recorded, so it's back on scedual by the looks of it. The ice was only out for one day before they came in yesterday. I'll try to get some pics up later, I seen some monsters in there, can't wait, couple more weeks they will be on our lines.
  2. Is that Shaquille O'neal's mom's house ? I know he has the biggest house in the world pretty much, but I guess he's a momma's boy to. Nice bass.
  3. The all time best, easiest box is the MILK CRATE box. Just go to the grocery store or a convenience store and ask if they have any milk crates you'll usually get one for free. Step two go to a hardware store or house building supply store and get a 19' piece of vinyl DOWNSPOUT (the stuff on eavestrophs) 20 pieces 11" long will fit snug into the crate. It's light, durable, organized and cheap and will last forever. Hard to beat, this idea has been around for ever and it works great, I'm going to make another one for a boo-box too. You could build a lid from plexi or lexan if you want, and just tie some rope on if you want a handle. I just found a pic of another guys here : You can get a lot of different colored crates to. I just noticed this box has 25 pieces, there might be 2 standard crate sizes ? not sure. Just get 25' of vinyl to make sure or do a little measurement on your crate.
  4. Too much of the same stuff, if it was a variety of many different styles, sizes, and brands etc.. it would be a good deal. I like the ones where guys sell their personal collection, I've bought a nice lot on Ebay for like 50 or 60 musky lures a couple years ago that I still use, it ended up being a huge deal. Nevermind, he does sell mixed lots.
  5. You get tracking for 3 easy payments of only $20000, the money goes straight to the government for extra 100" plasma TV's in their offices.
  6. They'll be putting computer chips in babies at birth soon enough.
  7. Well once again my buddy sent me these pics in a Email with no story but WOW! imagine seeing this outside your door ?
  8. $2690 with the six finger discount.
  9. The only bad thing I hear about Legends is their sneaky advertisements. Remember they advertise the prices with the minimum HP, say the boat your looking at comes with a 50hp the max HP for that boat is probably like a 115hp, so you at least need something in the middle a 90hp, so that will be the difference there. Are they good boats ? I think so. Are they really cheaper ? Don't think so. Sorry Lew, we must have been typing at the same time.
  10. Nice fish, I like the light coloration of them Tennessee hogs, that beach looks nice to.
  11. Nice fish Rich. I especially like Sledded's net job, very nice.
  12. Well, I'm out of the first one already. Went all in with A's and lost to a pair of 10's when he caught a 3 of a kind on the turn.
  13. There's some freeroll tournaments going on at PokerStars for Canadians, it's registering right now. Starts a 6:30pm and the second one's at 9:30pm. I'll see you at the final table, SirLargeStax is my user name.
  14. I would say it's a great camera, very nice clear shots.
  15. Get well Gary, you'll be good to go for the season.
  16. Personally I've had little success on hair jigs, I love jigs my box is filled with over 1000 most times. Live bait jigs with a short shaft hook are my go to, tipped with minnow or worm and a stinger hook. If you don't like live bait, I think a plastic grub/minnow/leech etc.. would be more productive than hair. Red hooks ? I haven't noticed a difference, better or worse. Body Color ? My favorites are chartreuse, orange, white or any combination of those colors. If I had to use hair it would be marabou not bucktail, it has a lot more action in the water, I like red thread and hair color to match the bait fish/worms. Brown, black, white, blue, orange. As far as hook size, I think you should tell the guy making the jigs to put whatever size he thinks are best. It would depend on how long and bulky the hair is.
  17. I got a baitcaster Okuma Nemesis for Walleye, and a 400 Induron for Musky. The Nemesis is amazing, the Induron works good for musky but I like the Abu's better for around the same price.
  18. I think all fish taste good, just depends on the chef. They are definitely the easiest fish to catch and most abundant fish in my area, can't keep the things off my hook no matter what I'm fishing for, the Wallies are everyone's favorite fish to eat and declining because of it, people look at me like I'm crazy when I release a Walleye.
  19. Glad to hear it was a good show, wish I could have made it. EH, what are those 2 lures on your booth ? they look nice.
  20. I'm glad everything worked out for you guys, nice looking boat. Wow, only $266 to fill her up, that's cheap.
  21. Late may is my favorite time on the French and the Bay, I find late may to be the hottest bite of the year for Walleyes, they are hungry and willing to eat anything you have. You can never go wrong with a wormharness, if the water is still cold they might like minnows better than worms on the end. It's a big deep river with tones of structure and weeds I would start by dragging a harness around until you find a couple, than park and start jigging away. Welcome.
  22. Thanks guys, they are mysterious animals that have my respect.
  23. Very nice Moose. That report could make someone who hates ice-fishing change their views.
  24. They could start using high powered tranquillizer darts.
