I've had over 100 different purchases on Ebay with only one bad run in with a computer monitor but I got my money back. I got a Lowrance 102C for $200 brand new and it works great, lots of reels, lures. Rods would be great but the shipping for a one piece is like $40 so it's not worth it for rods. Load up on your Power Pro line, theres lot's for cheap, but watch out for counterfeit stuff. Just always look at the sellers feedback, if he has a 100% positive feedback with over at least 100 sales than you can be pretty sure it's a good deal.

I thought Trojans protected against viruses, time to switch brands.

You trying to stir the pot Joe ?

So true. My guess would be 2% muskies eating walleye and 98% walleye fisherman, and bass are over populated now anyway, I can't keep the things of my hook. Why ? because most fisherman release bass. An interesting interview with Pete Maina I listened to, he said the 10 biggest muskies that a Toronto taxidermy did all had channel catfish in them. Pete radio interview

Welcome Kuha. What do you like fishing for ?

OFC is my fave by far. I always check "Yahoo canada" for the local news and "CNN" news in the morning. Then I check the Weather from "the weather network" than I'm addicted to "Ebay" so I look on there all the time and check "NBA.com" to see how Steve Nash is doing. Man' I'm turning into more of a geek everyday, damn Bill Gates. All fishing in 2 weeks no more internet for this guy., exept for OFC daily check in.

I'm not sure if casting distance would be much different, hard to say. I use 20lbs pp with floro leader on all my Walleye and bass rods and 30lbs for pike and I haven't lost a fish to break offs since I switched to PP, also I like how you can detect your line moving when a fish is just lipping it. 75 yards will be enough PP, but fill the entire spool either way with a mono backing. I find 10lbs a little hard to tie reliable knots, 15 or 20lbs will be easier to tie and not to much thicker.

My parents sell all the mags at their store, so I get to read them all for free. If there are any worth keeping I'll buy them. The mags are out for like a week and then all the articles are on the websites for free anyway.

I'm guessing you got a riding lawnmower, your lawn looks like a fairway, you should put a little green on there it would make a nice 19th hole.

That is sad. Last year a guy fishing beside me on Georgian bay tried to keep a musky that was like around 45" (limmit is 54"), I seen him reel it in and knew it was way to small, I had to argue with him and threaten to call the police on my cell phone before he finally let it go. He was all mad at me like I was the idiot. Some guys have no clue. I wonder how many guys are doing this ? I've herd stories of guys killing them to, because they think they eat all the Walleyes and Bass.

I think it's another GREY area, some MNR say it's o.k. some say it's not, just another confusing rule in the book. Because if someones taking a picture while the person who caught the fish is removing hooks etc... than your still releasing it forthwith. If your fishing by yourself setting the cameras timer to get a shot, it would take extra time.

If this global warming stuff kicks in you'll be bagging us for a little cool air, so think of future business and share some warmth. -
As long as you don't catch OOS fish intentionally there is nothing wrong with it, it happens to everyone. Unfortunately there are guys that do target OOS fish on purpose and that's why people get all riled up over a OOS picture even if you did catch it accidentally. I know for a fact I'll be catching OOS smallmouth fishing for Walleye in a couple weeks, and there nothing I can do about it, they are in the same areas and love jigs and spinners just like walleye and a musky might even take a jig, it happens every year, If it's a nice fish I'll take one fast picture, no harm done.

I always drain the oil before storage in the fall even if it's brand new. If any water was in there and it froze it can crack and break things.

A 24" Walleye could weigh 3lbs or 8lbs, you need the girth. The fish calculators can be off too, the only way to be accurate is with a certified scale. I have measured and weighted fish and compared to the calculators a couple times before, they are usually very close, withing 10% over or under so it gives you a good idea.

Thanks for sharing that, some nice fish there, looks like there ready to burst.

Nice job Carll, you guys really got into them, the drive definitely paid off.
-
Ye, but the fish looks over 50" ? you might have to add a couple loonies and toonies.

That's a biggin, nice one.

Happy Birthday.

Terry quit being a smart @$$. You'd be surprised how many Canadians don't know we have a professional basketball team (the Raptors) use to have the Grizzlies in Vancouver but they only lasted 3 or 4 years in the NBA. Canadians are programed for Hockey. I wish Toronto got a NFL team but too with the CFL they won't allow it, but what I find funny is all the players in the CFL are Americans anyway, so is it really Canadian ? We also got Steve Nash (from BC) in the NBA with 2 MVP's the last two years in a row and he could get it again this year, he is a legend in the NBA and that is a almost impossible task, and more Americans know who he is than Canadians.
-
Oh my god, that's funny Terry. Thanks for the story Pete, nice fish EH.

CC, what camera do you use ? your pics look super clear. Sweet fish.

All I know is that Danny Nagrado is the man, he pulls cards after he calls them out loud all the time, luckiest man alive.

Must be coming from up here, last two days it was snowing pretty good, but it's going to warm up. Start of the season everyone was complaining that there was no ice, now the dang stuff won't go away fast enough.
