Nice one, I didn't think those frogs worked.
-
Yup, they are doing great, surprised me this year for sure.

Tough call EH, you already know Lowrance has established a name for themselves, the Raymarine is not as popular so it would be a little bit of a gamble, but it could also be better you never know. Let us know how it is if you end up getting that unit, I'm interested in them to. I guess the main thing would be to make sure they accept all the cards for your area, if your getting the gps combo.

Yes, I can see the advantages on the 360, but the PC definitely has better graphics if you have a good graphics card and tons of ram. You can hook you PC to a big screen TV to if you wanted with a wireless keyboard and controller, lol. I've played the 360 and have compared graphics . The 360 will eventually just be a PC anyway, lol, every year it just gets closer to a computer, with more ram, Internet capabilities etc.. I guess Bill just wanted something a little different to sell. Oh, and my PC is hooked up to a sterio system to for the surround sound.

Good, I'm not the only one to see such a thing. The one I seen, it took three hits and a lot of screaming and feathers flying before the musky finally submerged the bird. Nature at it's finest, I bet the musky didn't expect it to be her last meal though.

My sister is a real estate agent, sells from Parry Sound to French river. French is 3 hours from TO, for the quality of fishing and land scape it is the cheapest area you'll find. Not sure about 125 though. PM me if you want her number.

Well, I seen these pics on one of those other sites. Thought is was interesting because last year I witnessed a musky eat a large seagull off the serface of the water and I thought I was hallucinating but a friend told me the next day that he seen a floating musky with a seagull wing sticking out of her mouth. ( they choke on seagulls, with all the bones ) Here is an example of what a little Pike can do, so imagine what a 50lbs musky can eat. Keep your small dogs and infants out of big musky water.

I'm surprised more people don't play the PC games, you can get controllers just like Xbox, play the same games with better graphics and you don't have to buy a Xbox ?

Topo Maps of Muskoka-Area Lakes and Suggestions

If you got the money, you can't beat the new GPS/WASS systems, they have chips with everything you could possibly imagine. Look at Garmin and Lowrance web sites or Ebay has a ton of them for sale. You could buy a nice unit for the same price as 10 or 20 paper maps. Welcome aboard. -
I'm not going to lie I would probably keep a WR, anything else other than small shore lunch swims away, like Terry said get a girth and length measurement along with some nice close pictures and the replicas can look just as good or better. If your going to eat the meat that you mount than at least it's not a waist. Plus I can't aford to get mounts.

I've never seen a fishing boat with one, but they have been around for awhile and the units look amazing, I've thought of getting one to, my dad's buddy has a Raymarine GPS on his tug boat and it's very similar to a Lowrance, you would probably have to own one before you could decide what's better, but I doubt you would be disappointed with either.

He was very talented, those almost look like photographs.

Very nice guys. Bly just keeps raising the bar on you Cliff, always one up. There's something about girls fishing, every time I take my sisters out they get the biggest fish, some sort of phenomenon.

This is the first and best site I've ever posted on, since my first post on here I've found other great sites but they are specific species sites. There are usually not to many questions that can't get answered here on OFC, in fact I don't think I've asked one question that hasn't got a good answer with great advice, so I have no problem helping others when I can.

Nice job Rick.

It will be a designated carcass blender, if my sister should accidentally use it for a protein shake than so be it.
-
Well, since I don't like soft plastics too much and have at least a dozen dead minnows or/and worms after each trip, I came up with a solution. I'm going to put the dead minnows and worms into a blender untill there almost liquid and suck them into a large syringe and inject the soft plastic with the concoction. Just another genius idea I though of today.

Keep your line wet.

Any Diana's sauce.

Man that's a big shiner.

Got ice here on inshore Gbay, I threw a rock up in the air and it went though the ice today, so there's only like 2 inches, 2 nice warm windy days will do it, but the wallies are usually here spawning by no later than the 15 th so it could be a little late this year.
-
Nice rose red cheeks on those ones, thanks for the report.
-
Wow, got some nice ones there. Save those suckers for me, I'll use them for musky bait in October.

Well it definitely varies from manufacturer to manufacturer ( sort of like sizes of clothes, they are never the same, one shirt your a large, different manufacturer your a XXL ) But I have had top, middle and bottom of the line from the same companies and the higher modules are always the best rods, but the best Fenwick at 1M8 won't be as good as the best GLoomis 1M8, so yes it definitely varies but generally the higher modules are better rods.

I'm not a fan of that first attempt. Why do guys like fiberglass anyway ? just a smoother ride, anything else ?
