2008 Optimax stalling at idle???
GbayGiant replied to lookinforwalleye's topic in General Discussion
Bad gas? Dirty injectors or just bad injectors? It is a poptamax after all. -
Mike, aka Solopaddler, I see you're back, you posted today
GbayGiant replied to chris.brock's topic in General Discussion
You ran from a Polar Bear? -
He or she will keep coming back. Best thing to do is stay there soon and make it realize that food stop is taken.

Police investigating after nets cut at fish farm
GbayGiant replied to kickingfrog's topic in General Discussion
Truth is that they have been escaping longer than Spiel has been alive. Has not had any effect. -
You guys talk like this happens every day. You can probably count on one hand the number of fish this size that come into anyone's boat in one year. I would say most go back. I would also say that over half die regardless of weather they were let go. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but it gets really sad and pointless when those people try and force others to follow them in their thinking.

my inner race on inside bearing keeps seizing
GbayGiant replied to soobnoob's topic in General Discussion
It sure does. As Dan has shown you. They are indeed there and need to be replaced and seated properly as fisherman has said as well. -

Bronte or Oakville cleaning stations - I need skien..
GbayGiant replied to Burtess's topic in General Discussion
I think the Bronte river is a cleaning station from what I have read. -
Great results. Always try and think outside the box.

Part wise, all outboards are made ethanol friendly. The only issues you may have is with water and only if you let it sit for a month with out use at the dock. Sta-bil Marine or sea foam will help with that.
-
What size engine is it Rangerguy? The dealer is wrong Steve(sarcasm at it's finest !)
-
The newer models are ethanol friendly when it comes to fuel line problems. The 10 micron Filters cost $24 plus tax every 50 hours. You can buy a 32 oz Sta-bil Marine treatment for $20 good for 80 gallons or 16 tanks of gas. I'd think you would spend more on filters through the season if you fished more than 50 hours. IMO A suggestion would not void your warranty.

Why bother???? I know guys who have had Yami's for years with zero water issues. They have no separators instalelled. Waste of time and money. No worries.

If I was you I would contact a Lawyer and talk about the fact that Legend left you out on a lake with a boat that could have killed you. I am sure you found out about the leak on the water when your bilge pump kept running. If by chance you had lost power you would have sunk and could have died. That alone right there should be enough to hold this problem you have over their head. They would be responsible for anything that happens to you in their leaks boat due to the fact it was bad workmanship. Good luck with your leaky boat. Legend boats are the worst ever made in my opinion. The way they handled your situation is sad and shows their character very well.

That was easy. I spoke to Bruce Ward today over the phone and this is what he said to me about Jerry’s fish. "We came up on a guy last fall out front of --- ---- ---- with a fish in his boat. We got out and helped him release the fish as it appeared to me that he intended to keep it. I helped him cut the hooks out of the fish and we measured it. It was of 'sub legal' for the Bay. It swam away. Luckily for him as I intended to 'charged him' with 'constraining a non legal fish. It barely swam away. Luckily for the person who caught it as he had it in his boat when we pulled up. I asked Bruce what constraining was and he told me that if it died in his boat he would have been fined as he should have cut what he could and let it go with the hooks in or out. Another 61 inch fable set to rest. Cheers

When is it Too Hot to Fish Musky Safely?
GbayGiant replied to Dontcryformejanhrdina's topic in General Discussion
I feel that it is time to stop fishing for Muskie when it is to hot for me to fish them. For any fish for that matter. -
Hey now. Not all is lost.

I was not talking about being on this board. I meant you have not been around long in general. Had you been around long enough you would understand humour. Like this kind maybe.
-
GreenCanada you have not been around long. If you had you would understand a lot more things. Even after it has been explained you fail to understand. Get off your high horse.

You fish an area where you know you can run into problems. You know where the lines are and I would think your friend does as well. If you were not sure where the lines were, I would think you would stay well clear of any boarder. Do you not have to "check in" by going to shore first when fishing US waters? You are crossing the boarder after all. Your friend should Pay the fines and realize not to do it again. cheers.

Question about Native status and fishing in my boat
GbayGiant replied to Cudz's topic in General Discussion
Guessing will not help here. Knowing our own rights as well as other individuals is something each of us should understand. Most do not. As long as they are in their Territorial boundaries, they can practice their rights. I have friends as well and they to follow our rules with the very odd exception. As long as you do not practice their rights with them, everything is good. -
Question about Native status and fishing in my boat
GbayGiant replied to Cudz's topic in General Discussion
You are sadly mistaken Old man. I am sure that you do not fish with natives.
