It's a easy process. I basically played the first Shimano video over a few times then the 2nd,3rd etc...after watching it i had it ready for reference then did a full service to my curado, i put a piece in wrong a few times but finally got it...not that many parts to confuse you in these reels...now a spinning reel is a different story...no where where to start on those

Yup a good sale at that. There are some rods over there I wish I had the $ for right now lol

Nice fish man.

Definitely a good resource. I'm always scanning for a nice used boat trailer for my 12'...want to find one for a project late this summer to fix up. That's a fast sell, nice job!

All I know is I have had at least 30 or more of those coffee's since the roll up started and I've won 1 coffee....yup just 1. They make good coffee but the large dbl dbl is never stirred at the bottom...XL dbl dbl is the best coffee there...I wish there was a donalds close to my place in lindsay but there isn't so my morning walk is tims. I haven't noticed a "price hike" on a coffee, my parents usually have the exact change counted out coming through the drive through so I think we would notice but ya never know...They had a really good BLT on a bagel there too i loved but since the tomatoes stopped being red i lost my taste for them all together...fresh is definitely a no no there.

I like Shimano cause when I have a problem I know it will be solved for me...been 2 years since having shimano reels,...both20-40% cheaper than that reel and well they look and fish great....don't think I would consider them, we have a shimano place close in peterborough to get things fixes...sending to the US sucks. -
Good post, I'm on the same path. Each season I try and master/learn a new technique or two. Last season it was flipping and pirching jigs, being good at fishing froggy's and spinnerbait fishing...season before that it was things like small topwaters and some plastic fishing, this season it's about swimbaits, and fishing deep water structure for bass....without good electronics. That's what fishing should be about, learning new techniques and being versatile. As a young angler I will be in the tournament scene once through college so why not spend a hundred days each season in a boat fishing and learning...It's what I love

x2 for me lol, why sit and cry when you can get out shore fishing at the very least

Anybody checked out Lindsay CDN Tire? I'll be there this week to see for myself, 50% is a good deal

It was just after 11am maybe when we got onto the right stretch, after that we mad multiple pass's and didn't get a bite. Earlier is the key I think.

Know I know many of you don't have or use FB but there was a group started by somebody a week or few weeks back. I joined and marked April 15th on the calander but when I joined there were 350'000 members, now it's approaching 700'000 Do not buy gas on April 15th...prob won't make a difference but well just don't buy gas on that day. http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=150414331685086 Maybe when it get's over a million members it will make the news. $1.21 last night In Oshawa I saw, $1.17 in Lindsay Thursday night Wouldn't hurt to stop buying as gas at the "big name" company's also, such as Esso, Petro-Can and Sunco just to name a few...maybe well see a decrease

This year I've added swimbaits to my tackle and a bunch of big power worm's, talkin nice 10" worms on big hooks and 3/8-3/4oz sliding weight's fished in deep water, 10-20ft Goal's are to catch lot's of good bigger than average bass. I didn't catch many small fish the way I fished last summer, caught some more many were 2 and 3lb +...Going to repeat that and the goal is to catch a bass over 7lb's in weight. I've got a few fish that were in the 22 and 23 inch range last year but found them shallow and with empty stomach's...aka long skinny fish...The deeper water makes fish fat...simple Some more Trout on Lake Ontario will be nice and to beat my PB Pike(36) this spring. I think that's it

Ya I definitely wan't one man, I'll make due for the next little while but once work for me start's up I'll be grabbing one...after all the fall will be very long and full of trolling I hope! As for the comment on the fish, this fish was great looking with a full belly still on it...Can't wait to get into some more of these fish as the trips pass by.
