10 times 3 plus 5 times 6 divided by 2 (10 * 3) + ((5 * 6) / 2) = 30 If I recall Algebra from many years ago. Multiply, Divide, Add, then Subtract. 10 * 3 = 30. Add 5 = 35. Times 6 = 210. Divide by 2 = 105 This is too much for a Sunday Morning. I'll vote to 30.

I Need A New Toy . . . (Not Fishing Related)
Rich Clemens replied to Photoz's topic in General Discussion
I used to have some fun with those things ... 15 years ago. I think the brand I had used was from Garrett. I found a lot of coins, a few rings, and such, but nothing of any real value. My son-in-law was out shovelling snow one year and lost his wedding ring. After serveral minutes of seaching, we found it. Knowing my daughter - that saved the young man a heapin' helpin' of grief. I've always thought about getting a new one, just to get outside and have a little fun. The newer models I was looking at were listed for a little more than $1,000. I seriously doubt my better half would go for that. They can be a lot of fun and some good exercise. I would imagine these machines are getting better and better with their sensitivity and the ability to block out certain metals. -

I think I paid about 149.00 US from GPS City last year and also received a $50.00 rebate coupon. Total cost to me $99.00 US plus S/H. Kinda neat to go west of 64 and see yourself motoring along on dry ground. Maybe someday it will be updated. -
Sounds like a long haul Rick, but sure is good to hear that Jack is getting better and better each day. Appreciate the update. I was just thinking about Jack last night on the way home from our vet.

Hey Mo ... Appreciate you asking. I'll let Nikita show her appreciation to you in June. My girl just had her two week check-up last night and had her stitches removed. The surgeon said her incision has healed up very well. Just two weeks after the surgery, the vet said she is walking very well on the leg and really putting some weight on it. Still limps a little, but that is to be expected. We have been very careful with her these last two weeks - keeping her penned up in the downstairs of the house. She really fought that cone she had to wear so I spent the last two weeks sleeping on the living room floor. This allowed her extra time without that cone - at least someone got a good night's sleep. We have to keep her from running and jumping for at least another month when we go back for another set of X-rays and we'll go from there. We're allowed to take her on 5 to 10 minute walks, so that will be good to get her strengthened up. So far, everything is going very well. Hey Rick: I was thinking of Jack on the way home last night from the VET. Got an update for us ?. I know Jack is a little further along, following the same kind of surgery. Hope all is going well with Jack as well.

Introduction & Pics, lots of them.

Hey ... Welcome aboard bud. Great set of pics from your trip to the shore. Looks like you had yourself a couple seafood buffets. I do believe we have another member of the board who uses those sabiki rigs. Oh gosh ... now there's two of them. As always ...... Welcome to the board. -
Probably be a close game for most of the first half. Seems like after half-time, the Patriots pull out the stops and win the games. I'd love to see the Giants win and pull off the upset.

Ya just can't keep a good man down. Glad to see you're back home and prayers for the test results.

Great report Mr. Bunker. Thank goodness I'm not on dial up .... great seeing all your pics.

Praying for the best my friend. Hope whatever is going on ... can be taken care of in short order.

Sweet ride Memart .. you're gonna love it.

They sure don't make cartoons like they use to. That was 'THE' thing to do on a Saturday morning. Now ... none of the toons are even worth watching. I'm not quite 50 yet ... but I miss those good old days. We have a TV station called TV LAND that shows a lot of the old sitcoms like Sanford & Son, Beverly Hillbillies, Adams Family, All in the Family, and so forth. I spend a fair percentage of my "TV Watching", watching those old shows.

Nice report LMA. Brings back some great memories when my wife and I spent a week on Ambergris Caye , Belize about 4 years ago. Unfortunately, I didn't get into any fishing. I'd love to go back some day. I liked their exchange rate: 1 US Dollar = 2 Belize Dollars -
Hope you have a great one.

Tough day Fishingnut. That is something that all of us dog owners have to face and it is never easy, no matter the circumstances with our pets themselves. It is tough and takes a while to get over it. I can certainly share your pain and grief. Sorry to hear about your loss.
-
I agree. That first shot and the one of the church are great.
-
That's a nice read hookset and I don't consider that rambling at all. The loss is a tragic event, but keeping his memory and your combined memories alive will keep your Dad living on.

That's wild ... I travel that road at least once a year, sometime twice.

Cabin 5. June 15 to 22. Running Sunday to Sunday - can't miss out on all the fun that Saturday. Looking forward to another great week with great friends.

Just brought her home and she's taking it easy. This was her first time being away from home .. alone. So, I'm guessing this added a bit of stress to her. I had a little over an hour ride home with her tonite and she cried the entire way home. I'm not sure if it was from pain or that snowcone they had around her head. That drove her nuts the entire trip. Now that she is home and under watch, we removed the cone and she seems to be calming down a bit. Get her rested up, perform daily therapy, keep the pain meds and antibiotics going, and she'll come around just fine. Just dang glad to have her back home. Thanks for all the well-wishes. She sends a lick to all.

Still sendin' up my best to ya Nanook.

I've been following Rick's post about Jack and the undergoing of reconstructive knee surgery as my own little girl was facing the same thing. Bright and early this morning we're out the door and, as always, she is so enthusiastic when it comes time to "GO". A little over an hour away to the Animal Hospital to a surgeon who comes highly recommended by our home-town vet. Everyone there was great and even spent a fair amount of time with the surgeon going over all the options and pro/con of each. In a nutshell, they will be cutting off the part of the lower leg bone where the ligament that is attached to the knee cap - attaches to the lower leg bone. With this piece removed and the ligament still attached, the surgeon will build that area up with a 'cage' of material, then re-attach the removed section of bone. The ligament stays intact and bone/extra material will grow together. When we called late this afternoon, the surgeon says the surgery went very well and we can expect about 6 weeks or so of recovery. As long as everything heals properly, she should be back to normal. She'll be 8 years old this June and according the the X-rays, her hips show only mild changes ... so it's great to hear that her hips and overall health is real good. Stop by Cabin 5 in June and say hello. I can certainly understand Rick's anxiety leading up to that day. It sure is not the same around here this evening, without Nikita being here. It just SUCKS This is actually the first time she has ever been away from home ... alone. I'll be picking her up late tomorrow afternoon and then it will be a big challenge to keep her quiet and not jumping around. Here she is ... at Christmas and can't wait to get her back home
