  1. Great pic and like the way you were able to capture the lighting. Impressive shot.
  2. Hey Gerritt. I totally enjoyed my tour through western Europe back in 1997 and a re-visit to Switzerland back in 2001. Would like to see more pics from your trip.
  3. Been there .. done that Glen. I too made a couple Dam trips this year and I didn't get any Dam fish either. But - I know and have faith in you, that you will catch some Dam fish. Go get 'em buddy.
  4. I just hope Marc puts up maps and directions to all these ponds - and stocks them well.
  5. Attaboy Mike ... Love these 'Year-in-review' reports. Thanks for putting it up.
  6. Navionics Hotmaps for Canada 2007. (Already got it) New fishing net (to be picked up soon). Battin' 1,000 so far.
  7. That is one sweet ride icefisherman ... can't wait for spring and the fishing reports.
  8. Probably the only way I would keep it is if she could not be revived for a live release. Photo, measurements, and a replica. I don't even carry anything to weigh a fish.
  9. Thanks folks .... I ate waaaaay too much food yesterday.
  10. Maybe Wayne (Irishfield) will invite you over for some back-porch gobbler hunting. Welcome to OFC Love2Hunt
  11. 27 years ago was my last. Smoked while I was in college. Once I got married and had a child, the last pack of cigs went into the garbage can and never picked one up since.
  12. Ya big whimp .... Take your shirt off before taking the pics. Gosh ... don't even recongize ya. Good you were able to make it up with safe driving. Hope to see ya again in June.
  13. Attaboy Lew ... Hope you had a great one.
  14. None of us can recognize Dog in any of those pictures. Should have made him stand up and take his shirt off for the pics.
  15. This is how I kill time during the Winter. May as well make it Spring, Summer, and Fall as well.
  16. Crap, missed Lew O'clock - not that I really wanted to see it (ha ha). Up a little early today and heading to the grind-stone. Only 7 more months to Lakair (sigh)
  17. Are we really that bad .. that you need 4 monitors to keep tabs on everything ?
  18. Great report Cliff. Looks a wee bit cold out there, but I'm sure the camaraderie warmed everyone up. Wishin I would have been there.
  19. Great report folks. Nice to see a few familiar faces in the crowd.
  20. Chuck took it ? Congrats to ya bud.
  21. Good post JohnF. I only use the open-faced spinning reels and have been considering the move to a baitcaster. I tried one for the first time at Lakair this year and made a mess of my first cast. Wish I would have had Lew's advice first, but after a while, I got the hang of it. My wife throws right and retrieves right - switching hands after the cast. May be unusual, but that is what she is comfortable doing. Lew's point is very well taken ... do what you feel comfortable with and is most effective for you. It's an individual thing. Great post and info folks.
  22. yup - best of luck to every one and keep if safe out there. I only want to hear fish stories, stories of a great time had by all, and lots of pics. Remember to wear your PFD's please folks.
  23. No offense please .. but you can just keep that white stuff up there. Pretty windy down here as well and has been now since yesterday. Big temp difference between Wednesday and thursday this week. I guess we had our indian summer and now we wait through the long winter. You got it Lew .... Come on April !
  24. Drop it in the mail this morning Wayne, I'm sure they'll understand. Funny how this is so true at times, and not even for revewing a passport. Good luck on BOQ this week-end ... lucky bums.
  25. Looks like you guys heading to the GTG and Walleye Tournament are gonna have some impressive catches. Congrats on such a successful trip and the PB's that were caught.
