  1. Sandmann every time I went out fishing I made sure I had a Bomber or rapala Wake bait tied on..! they work great!

  3. awesome report!
  4. same! as for new stuff the guys were on the money when they said Spooks ! I love spooks.. but thats cuz i probably have ADD and hate to "pause" my lures.. such as poppers. and much rather walk them. and have caught fish on them bass-pike-musky.. as for soft body swimbaits I baught a wack of them and never really got into it.. a few of my friends did.. and they do catch fish. other then that being said I know personally that ya sure I'll keep adding to my tackle.. but I like to "learn new techniques and try to perfect them" instead of letting all my tackle pile up.. and pushing the less used lures into the corner.. only because i dont like them or never took the time to find out if they will catch me fish! but hey new gear is always fun to play with..
  5. awesome thanks for the reports guys I know a few locals up there as I used to live up In Cloyne just NE of there back in the day.. and well have kept in touch, I will be staying at my friends cottage hes not much of a fisherman but I'll see if I can convince him to go.. if not I'll be out there in my 14'er with 9.9/trolling motor.. I'll be either goin for pike or walleye.. like I said I used to live up there and know how to pike fish.. but walleye fishing up there is alot different then the walleye fishing here on Lake scugog.. the lakes are much deeper up there. thanks again !
  6. sweet deal ! Congrats!

  10. I was in my 14' tinny fishing in the Lindsay river when some ass in his big 25-30' cabin cruiser came flyin down the river and absolutely swamped me.. I was taking on water.. felt like i was on Lake Simcoe or sumthing! wish people had Common sense and courtesy

  12. I went out fishin yesterday for walleye and I mainly fish 4-6 fow with weeds mainly with a hair jig but i also like to use small-medium sized spinnerbaits and jerk baits and had some guy pull up to me asking if I have had any luck.. who was DEFENETLY fishing bass.. and I say this because out of his 4 rods he had 1 spro frog and 1 snagproof frog.. the other rods i didnt really pay much attention to.. I told him that I had only caught 1 walleye and a few panfish (jumbo perch etc).. and he was quick to reply no bass? I told him I had only caught 1 wich I did but I was not targeting bass as they are not in season.. he just laughed and said.. "ya..." I told him that its ilegal to fish OOS fish and you can be fined etc.. he just laughed and peeled off.. I was fishing alone and dont have a cell phone or else i would of reported him.. I continued fishing and about half hour later some guys in a seadoo boat pull up and they ask the same.. "any luck?" I told him the same.. 1 walleye.. few jumbos.. and like 2 crappie.. put all the fish back.. and they blew up.. they told me that I must be targeting walleye because i was 80 yards away from a patch of lillys and that i was fishing weedlines etc with "Jigs" .. I tried to explain that you dont have to troll to catch a walleye.. and that these methods have produced me fish in the past many times.. they went on how I was full of it. etc.. I just told them to go enjoy the beautiful weather.. and that they should google how to fish for walleye.. they wernt impressed.. but neither was I.
