  1. the Cadillac of kayak fishing... and yes Roy you can get an electric for it too, but then you wouldn't be allowed into the Ontario tournaments
  2. Nice to meet you Dave. As I said at the show, "I've got a kayak just for you". If Hank Parker and Italo can do it, I'm sure you can too.
  3. oops
  4. one of the few good shows left on OLN. RIP Capt Phil.
  5. steelhead too...
  6. I predict the highest SB score to date. don't expect much defence in this one Ed Reed put the Colts here and the refs put the Saints in.
  7. It is being tabled for discussion again next week now that Obama realizes the hastiness of his poor decision. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact the it would forever be his legacy being as the president that knowingly allowed the destruction of the Great Lakes fishery.
  8. Hobie Polarized makes great glasses in a pile of styles/colours and lenses.
  9. nice fish Mike! keep that up and you'll be considering a name change....
  10. Being a SJ fan, yeah he was much better in Cali and he rivaled Nabakov at times. That's when they traded him to get good returns.... if only the Laughs understood that. When you have a crap team infront of you... well, you look like crap.
  11. yep!
  12. That's some fine January fishing there! Hope the ice pack under the RB stays intact for you today.
  13. your timing for buying one brand new is very good because most places have really good sales on last years models. We bought an '07 Fleetwood Yuma - sleeps 4 comfortably or 2 adults 4 kids. Came with propane powered fridge, stove and furnace so no need for hydro unless you want other luxuries. For $7200+tx, it included the installation of a trailer brake for the car and insurance too. We financed it and they give decent rates. It was an'07 purchased in April '08. I hauled it with a Mazda CX-7 for the first two years with no issues at all. I'd say go new if you can.
  14. congrats man! I see much less fishing in your future.
  15. right on man, looking forward to the show!
  16. We had reservations at the Black Shop in Galt, but I pleaded to stay home for the Canada vs. USA Jr's game. Good thing she's serious hockey fan too! Just gotta figure out how I can duplicate the great meal we'll be missing, 'cause that was my bargaining chip. I'm leaning toward a Thai Chili beef dish with lots of Bavarian beer to wash down the fire. Sweet lookin tenderloin there Burtess!
  17. That would be Chesley Lake in tht location. I've never caught anything too spectacular out of it. Not sure there are too many walleye in it anymore, but it was fair for them about 10-15yrs ago. Spinnerbaitking would probably have some accurate details for ya though.
  18. If you didn't make a mental note of where the open/weedless spots where when you looked in the in the fall, you may have to punch a lot of holes to find em now. I tried several years ago on bannister and got frustrated with all the weeds and shallow water.
  19. definitely! One of my all time favourite Candy movies too.
  20. Wow, they sure put a lot of time into that to see it in that mess now.
  21. I used to use em a lot too, but found that regular micros with a small piece of sponge with ur favourite scent, stuck in the opening works way better.
  22. Thanks for the news Bob. How did you find the Tadpole for drag creating drag while reeling in the fish? Is there a released like on Dipseys?
  23. Very nice! At least there is one successful Atlantic Salmon fishery in Ontario.
  24. steelmouth err smallhead, uh I can't decide. both readily available and always willing to battle.
