  1. Mike, Corey and I will be there for sure. We were just down at the Ohio Muskie show this past weekend and heard Saric speak there. Very good presentation. Look forward to seeing you. This is a very good show, if you are even slightly interested in muskie you should attend.
  2. Tattoo Style !!! I'm actually going back at the end of the month to have the colors finished off but I'm really happy with how it turned out. The gaps are actually gonna be where the water splash is.
  3. Alot of the "experts" most of the time are fishing with guides too. I wouldn't call Crazyhook "Host of Big City Fishing" an average guy...I'd say he's probably one of the most knowledgable fishing guys I've ever met. I like their shows...they are different from the "norm". A guy isn't necessarily an expert cause he wears a shirt thats got enough decals that he looks like a Nascar car. Cheers
  4. Great report Brian, nice to see one from you again. I stole your picture of the sunrise for a new wallpaper. Get me in the mode for Sunday. Time for a new avatar...Iron Maiden doesn't fit iin with misfish
  5. First time I ever took my son out ice fishing and we walked back to this..same spot..and no my car is not there.
  6. Great story Lew. All the best to you and Diane !!
  7. Very nice. You should be very proud of your son.
  8. With a family background like that, it's easy to see why you're the great individual you are. I've already shared my Rememberance day post and I enjoy reading all of them. Thanks Lew
  9. Great list Garry. I've still got my first ever reel a Mitchell 300 from the late 70's. Still works (retired now) and who can forget that loud clicker.
  10. Very good baits indeed, Mike knows his stuff.
  11. Some of you may recall seeing these photos before and I hope you don't mind seeing them again. My Dad's been gone for 5 years now after losing his battle with lung cancer. He was 81 years old. I miss him and my Mom of course at Christmas and on their birthdays but rememberance day is always a bit tougher, although it is getting easier each year. I am very proud of him to this day. These are some pics from one of his albums that I had scanned. I don't know the stories behind most of them. My dad was part of the D Day plus 3 invasion and spent 2 years overseas. Here's a newspaper article from his hometown from 1944. My Dad drove a transport carrier. This picture I believe is from Belgium and is probably in the earlier time he was over there as he was still a private then. This is one of my Dad's buddies. I'm not sure what city it is in but you can see the Prisoner of War sign behind him. A couple of shot down aircraft.. I really like this shot....Dad on his Harley  His medals and badges which are proudly displayed in my cabinet. Our last time fishing together at Lovesick Lake in fall of 2004. God Bless Dad Thanks for reading and don't forget to buy a poppy. Jim
  12. I hadn't been around here for the last few days and heard about this on the weekend Wayne. It certainly sounds like your daughter is in good hands and it is evident that she has a great family to support her. My thoughts are with you guys.
  13. Very nice Joey. If you go to Rollie and Helen's website, they've got a nice selection of the #10 blades. I've put them on my Christmas wish list . I just made a couple of baits a couple of weeks ago similiar to your first two Joey with the #8 blades as well with Flashabou. The thing I find is the #8's doesnt give the flashabou the same action as the #10's do. They still work OK but just not as much action.
  14. A beauty !! Congrats, pretty healthy girth on her too !!
  15. Great report and pictures Bunk! Really like the shots with the kids and the rainbow in the background. Those Kesagami pike are crazy. I think I've asked you before but what kind of camera do you use? The quality is unbelievable. Very well written. Jim
  16. Sorry to hear this Kelvin. My thoughts are with you.
  17. Great report Terry. Good to see you got out.
  18. Nice job Simon, enjoyed the video. Got to tell you, if I lived 15 minutes from Eagle Lake, I'd be spending my time going after bigger toothy critters.
  19. Some nice pike Shaun, congrats !! Did Chris do a show with you?
  20. Nice fish Laszlo !! Congrats to your buddy.
  21. I've been chatting with Jamie through e-mails the last few days. I really liked the show, I hope it does well. It's a different concept and a breath of fresh air.
  22. Good luck Matt. Beautiful part of the province you're heading too !!!
