Great post Lew. Have been thinking about my Dad alot today too Lew. He was part of D Day plus 3 and was lucky enough to come back and lived a long life as well. I owe you a phone call soon and hope we can share a boat soon too. Sorry I've been a stranger. Hi all. Just over a month ago while I was up at Nipissing, I met up with Lew on the water and he snapped this picture of me. I was really pleased with the way it turned out and since i didnt have any other pictures like it I decided to have a lady I work with paint it for me. Yeah if I had your lake at my backyard, I would rarely fish anywhere else either Bernie; however, having said that, that looks like a great time.

HAHAHAHAHA The sad thing is though that even though that gentleman is a tad more "portly" than me, he does bear a resemblance.

One thing to try (in case you haven't already) on your topraider or any bait for that matter is to bend the treble under the belly portion of the bait into a "T". That way you've got two of the trebles sticking out and may help your hookup percentage.

Hi all. Haven't posted a report in a while so I thought I'd share a few pics from my trip a couple of weeks ago from Nipissing. A very relaxing week, got to fish with my buddy Lew one morning and spent some great time on the water. Muskies were cooperating quite well and got a bonus pike fish fry. I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking.... View from the cottage and the boat's parking spot... A nice fat 49 and a half incher.... Another chunky fish...46 incher... Nice to see different sizes being caught..my son's first of the week... My new wall paper for my phone...my two boys and a healthy 43 incher.... and of course some scenery shots.... and the end of the week pike fish fry... I havent figured out the new (to me at least) formatting but thanks for reading. Jim

Caught this big girl on a top raider in a figure 8 right by the boat 5 years ago. To this day, I dont throw them as much as I probably should as I have a few other baits I have more confidence in, but they do work. I do like throwing the walk the dog baits as well.

They are in there for sure. My son got one a couple of years a go on a jig and a worm. We were fishing for suckers.
