Don't get a GMC/Chev if it's mileage you're after. My '13 5.3 is an awesome truck, but they still haven't figured out how to make their v8's reasonably efficient. My current rolling avg. according to the DIC is 15.1 MPG...oww!!

Yup, same for me, although most of the lakes that I would spend 2-3 hours getting into are less than 50 kms from me.

I used to commute from Callander to North Bay and I really didn't care of it. I now live about 900 meters from my work and it's pretty damn sweet
