  1. This one's a favourite of mine... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/QpPRWmPxkzQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  2. There is no thermocline after turnover...not sure what it was you were marking on the graph???
  3. Fantastic. Thanks for taking the time to provide such great reading and viewing material of a trip I can only dream of one day accomplishing...
  4. I've hauled Clam Nanook's by myself in 3 foot of snow before. That sucked, but in light snow/bare ice it's really not bad at all if you're in decent shape [and you have cleets].
  5. I'm going to go ahead and say that's a terrible idea. And no, I have nothing productive to add...except for good luck.
  6. It is possible for your son to get an extension if he books his G test as soon as he can.
  7. how'd ya miss this...http://ontariofishingcommunity.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=66403

  9. LOL! Poor guy. That's worse than when Fish TV got switched to Legend Boats LOL! Fishing show hosts are not educators, but product pushers in the truest sense and can't think of many shows still going that promote the sport at its most basic level, and why I almost never watch fishing programming anymore. I wish I had lived to see the Red Fisher era.
  10. Instagram is great eh? Sweet shots!
  11. Two weeks? LOL! I wish you good luck.
  12. Introduced to many lakes...invasive to even more. Regardless of whether or not you enjoy fishing for them [once in a blue moon for me], you can't deny that they've had an enormous impact of many native fish species throughout Ontario and elsewhere.
  13. Good stuff Blair. I froze my cayoonas off for the last two days with nothing to show for it.
  14. If you wanna smell bad for half the day, sure
  15. No kidding. Trout lakes galore in the area. This is about the worst time to try and figure out a new lake for walleye and about the best time for year round specks and splake.
  16. His opinion happens to be fact in many, many instances particularly in northern regions, so keep your hostility to yourself.
  17. There's always walleye in Quinte, and it's always worth going.
  18. I too lost a close family member the same way. My condolences to you, Nick.

  20. I like it better up here where you get harassed for letting fish go.
  21. The precipitation forecasts are changing from millimeters to centimeters round here...bring it on!!
  22. ...And I can't think of any reason why they would LOL!
  23. That was an informative read. I would definitely back a year round season, but given their economic importance that will never happen.
  24. Point is...difference between 'import' and 'domestic' continues to diminish, and the pride that people associate with either is pretty ridiculous.
