  1. Absolutely. Worth it's weight in gold, especially for lake trout.
  2. 1/8 oz [will rarely go over 1/4 oz] WHITE
  3. There is an X-rap Countdown scheduled to be released pretty soon [i think?] as well. Really looking forward to that one.
  4. Wow. Fantastic stuff and a HUGE discography to work thru. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/W4dtodbhNys" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  5. Wow, that is truly awful. My first year of insurance [at age 20] was around $4000/year with a 2002 Tundra. How is his so much higher?
  6. Whitby has been stocked with browns multiple years, not sure which years exactly, but I have heard of good returns. Never tried for them myself, but I heard there's the odd pike in there
  7. Like rainbows, browns and tigers have been stocked in many, many pot lakes all throughout north America.
  8. Amazing! I also use a small fly reel for the troots and perch round here...super fun stuff. A 16"er could bust yer knuckles easy!
  9. Given your location, you may as well get an 8" since you likely won't be drilling thru much more than 12" of ice most of the year.
  10. Absolutely brutal forecast on the way...but it was nice to get the feet wet [ha ha] and get December started off right.
  11. LOL! The show specials are just rods that he brings to the Sportsman show, and evidently hasn't sold yet.
  12. Hah! A truck for a princess... I bet that 12" inch lift really comes in handy when they're driving down all those nasty trails to get to their tournaments...
  13. What exactly are you worried about happening? The few people that actually keep bass up there will now have an opportunity to legally possess more [as if that mattered anyway] without a seasonal size restriction. Bring it on down to zone 11!
  14. I definitely support it. However, if you think this proposed change would have even the slightest chance of 'decimating' bass populations [in that zone specifically], much less even affect them adversely, I'd like to hear your thought process behind it. Mmmmmm...coldwater smallies
  15. Finally get to see these dudes Saturday! <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/feBlKnfAsv4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  16. I already don't believe you...
  17. This year, I successfully pared my tackle down to a small, 3 compartment flambeau shoulder pack. I have everything in it that I could possibly need to effectively fish for the 10 + local species of fish that I actively target throughout the year. Truly makes you realize how much you can do without and not affect your outcomes.
  18. There's no such thing as a double-duty rod. Dipsy and rigger rods have wildly different actions, so one of each would be necessary.
  19. Great point.
  20. I'd be interested to see how many hours you could get out of a 1 lb. tank. Seems like a great design.
  21. A 10' Talora dipsy stick should fit snugly in a stocking
  22. I don't remember the last time I ever went to the grocery store for fish...between the trout perch pike pickeral bass ling etc easily available locally why buy fish that has travelled thousands of kms in the back of truck.
  23. Well you managed to outfish the lot of us on Nipissing last year, so maybe perch will give us a fighting chance...
  24. Yikes! Glad we don't have that much powder up here. No good for the ice!
