  1. Good tips, cuz I have the same situation with my 16' smokercraft.
  2. It's a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it! The outcome and rewards are everlasting. Thanks Manitou, and i also extend the greeting. I'm sure there are some dads that may not be getting the recognition they deserve today, for whatever reasons, so this is a nice way to appreciate them.
  3. Very well put buddy! We all have our aches and pains, plus ways to deal with them, but ultimately, when you're washing lures, nothing hurts!
  4. You'll probably hear it till your ears bleed, but yeah buddy!!! Awesome story Dutch, and a nice specimen! I'm slowly liking this musky chase that I see alot of you guys on here do!
  5. Not necessarily...... when I had my iPad, I had a Lifeproof case for it, which made it 100% waterproof. Coupled that with a suction mount, and I had quite the screen for viewing. Problem was, on bright days, even when toggled to its brightest setting, it didn't matter, as you could barely make anything out. You needed a towel or something of the sort, to shade you from the sun.
  6. I'm totally with you regarding the early launch! Plus, if it's where I'm thinking of, parking is limited as well! So the early bird definitely gets the worm there!
  7. I'd also jump aboard if I wasn't working! Damnnnn...... I think it was you I saw, with Pete, out there late last season. Good luck bud!
  8. Heheh.... good one. Or did I just admit to having man boobs?! Damn!
  9. I can only imagine what the OP is going through. I'd personally crap my pants and do something I'd probably regret in the near coming future. But there has been some good advise here so far. The only piece I could lend, is possibly calling an employment lawyer. From listening to AM 640 over the years, a name that rings well in my ears is Lior Samfiru. Don't have his number handy unfortunately, but I'm sure Google does. A long shot possibly, but something I'd try. Hopefully it all pans out, and your info hasn't fallen into ill hands. Good luck.
  10. Good call Chris..... It's enough to make a comment or two...but threads that go on with 15+ pages of whining, complaining folk, just gets old after a while. And Cliff, the "old" comment wasn't pertaining to you one bit young fella!
  11. I love the looks on the faces of the guys watching the whole fiasco. Priceless! It would be wall material, if she was standing close by all sopping wet, and holding her GPS. LOL
  12. I believe the OP is looking for aluminum checker plate that's rubber dipped.
  13. I noticed this was from the ".com" site. Checking their Canadian site yields no results for that type of flooring. As long as the States has it, will they still bring it in for you?
  14. What a great thread....lol.... Had a few chuckles, starting right from the begins ng. As I progressed in reading the first post, the voice in my head turned into "the movie trailer" guys voice. Hahaha good read once again. My mom, as I'm sure most, just enjoys our presence there".
  15. I primarily fish in Crates marina, and that would only be during the crappie feed, and I must say, they are a leniant bunch. Not much is said, if ever. I do feel for these huge boat/yacht owners though. So I try and stay clear from casting really close to their machines. I'm not there to win any tournament, so a little fishin, and I'm on my way. I appreciate the fact they put up with us fishermen the way they do.
  16. Last season, I was taking on a little more water than usual. After close inspection, it was the livewell pump inlet pipe had cracked before the hose connection. Wouldnt have found it unless you put a bit of pressure on the tube. My guess is maybe the sliding of the fuel tank may have given it a good jolt at one time. Since then, I've made a bracket where the handle of the tank slides over a 2X4 which is screwed to the floor. No more moving fuel tank. Good luck with yours. But that much water should be noticed quickly upon entering a lake.
  17. I have an assortment of bits up to 7/8 for what you need. If you need to borrow one or a few, hit me up. I'd be glad to help out. You'll need a 1/2" drill.
  18. Drifter hit it pretty much! Just C.Y.A. and you should be fine.
  19. Great video! Cant beat everlasting memories!! Well done.
  20. I remember watching that video a while back, and its burned into my head. I usually am not one to start/cause trouble, but if the fishings good, then I ain't moving! If not, I'd still state the facts, and more than likely move.
  21. Good to see you got 'er going!! Now you can worry about catching fish!!!!
  22. Double check your battery voltage. If you can keep a voltmeter on your battery while cranking, check the voltage drop. Your battery may have gone kaput. Otherwise, check your voltage at the one side of your start solenoid, stationary. Should have battery voltage. Try jumping the large terminals at the solenoid..... Try tapping that solenoid lightly. Could be stuck internally. There's a few things to try. Good luck! Boat issues ALWAYS suck!
  23. Definitely hit the nail on the head with that comment! Frustrating at times! Time to switch careers and become a marine mechanic! Never a problem again!.
