Lmaoooo Good job on the resto! That 2 piece lower unit looks like a breeze compared to nowadays. I have one where I can't get the gears out due to a seized bushing. May have to sacrafice the housing and cut it in two. :-(

Thanks Consigliere

Need new starting battery... I think?

If you never charged it over the winter season, then charge it at a very low amperage for a day or two, then try again. Other than that, I'd assume it's toast. -
Replacing boat floor... Progress report
Smokercrafty replied to mike rousseau's topic in General Discussion
Yea, a lot of great tips here already Mike. I wouldn't sweat it with regards to what you have. I built a casting deck last year out of framed 2 X 2's that I gave a quick shot of paint to, prior to carpeting it. Then fastened it with a few 3" deck screws. My philosophy is this, in 3,4, 5, or even 10 years when, and if it molds or deteriorates, I'll pull the screws, and toss the whole deck out, then start all over. No stress! Just GET 'ER DONE and go fishing! That's the important part! -
I have a 14' world class, not using it now, but loved it on the rivers! Great rod for its purpose.

Replacing boat floor... Progress report

I've also heard that's all overrated. Just paint 3/4 plywood with several coats, and away you go! That, or some wood sealant. I, in no way am condoning any of these two practices, it's just what I've heard. But I do echo the comments regarding the pressure treated stuff. Id read a little before finalizing your project. -
I agree. Good thread. Not to hijack the thread, but I was thinking of moving my engine (crank) battery, up to the bow of the boat where my second battery is.(keep the bow down/ plane faster) Question here is this, would the length of wiring required, affect any charging aspect of the battery?

Fishing with my son. (when he was 3)
Smokercrafty replied to limeyangler's topic in General Discussion
I'll agree..... Nice little video. I took my little guy fishing on the ice, for his first time. It was short lived as expected. Patience levels aren't too high at that age, but it was a memorable time, nonetheless. -
Wow, all these stories are new to me! Cool read, never heard of any of this happeninp!

So you just pulled the old floor, and all that foam was there??? Did you spray that in?...... Looking forward to more pics..... -
Love the thread! Definitely gonna get into some of this gear come summer. I usually head out with tons of sunscreen, and plenty more stocked in the boat, but wearing this stuff would surely cut down on my sunscreen stock!!!

Gonna try tomorrow. Thanks for the help guys.

I listed the numbers in the last post..... Unsure of DPI, but was hoping I supplied enough specs. I used an app to give me those details, it may of had the DPI, I probably missed it.

True enough Porkpie, but I think a scammer will always be a scammer, 1 post, or 1000 posts. I do understand it would hurt a reputation on a forum, hence the reasoning behind it. All in all, I'm totally cool with it. I just have some swag to get rid of! Lol

world fishing network free preview for April
Smokercrafty replied to netminder's topic in General Discussion
I hear you there esox, I could care less for any saltwater or fly fishing, and if it's primarily that, then I wouldn't purchase. Although I can tell you this, I've recorded every series of freshwater episode so far!! Good for the PVR bank! -
Actually, south simcoe.... REALLLL south. Newmarket actually. But I mainly fish Simcoe. I use my iPad only. But I must confess, I didn't look for posting rules. I just took them for granted.

world fishing network free preview for April

Always wanted to check this out before buying...... Thanks for the heads up -
No, Pete, I just resized that to the max allowable limit for posting. The original for that particular photo was 3264 X 2448 @ 8MP. I have another panoramic with the values 6512 X 2402 @ 15.7 MP With these numbers, I really just wanna know how big I can go before obvious pixelation or distortion occurs. I'm really hoping larger than an 8 X 12. And yea Bill, I remember when cell phones only had a 0.2 MP camera. They've come long ways though. As I said, these pics were taken with my iPhone 5. Surprisingly enough, colour and crispness in the originals would lead you to believe they were taken professionally.

I guess I can understand the whole concept...... My bad for not reading rules. I'll be around for the 100 and then some. Thanks for the replies.

Probably got some attention with the thread name, but all I'm wondering, is I have a few photos from a cell phone, that I think are fantastic. I'm wanting to blow them up, and frame them to wall mount in my living room. Should I go canvas, or just get them blown as large as possible without pixelation.? Also, can I figure out the maximum size before pixelation, for a nice wall mounted picture? I've attached an example..... Also, will I have to do any color adjustments after the size increase?

Lol good Ad Canuck!....

Looking to post in "classifieds"...... Still says I can't start a new topic.... Why? Do I need a certain amount of posts first?
