  1. Bob, there are a few rivers around you that fish REALLY well after a rain. Next time you think it's going to blow out, at least go down and take a look. You might be surprised
  2. Those little chromers are awesome, especially out of that river. Wait until you tie into a 5-6lbr!! :) I agree those signs should be everywhere and a lot more visible. I had a guy ask me last year if he could keep the fish he caught, I asked if he read the sign on the way down.
  3. I like Troblys as well, it would just be nice if the store was double the size. So much crap in there it's insane, lol..
  4. Nice man! Looks like gin clear conditions.
  5. Easy choice, Weber Q 100.. This is what we use and it's fantastic!
  6. It's not like its uncooked chili, it's already been cooked! Sans a little freezer burner (maybe) it will be fine.
  7. Put enough down to avoid the CMHC fees.. Also the limit for the one time RRSP withdrawl is now 25k, minimum amount to avoid the CMHC is 20% down. I also pay my mortgage at a higher rate then I'm actually being charged. This takes a nice chunk out of the principle everytime I make a payment. Gotta remember, you pay the interest first
  8. I'm sorry for your loss Al
  9. Brandon, 16-35 or a 10-22? I recently picked up a 10-22 and it's a lot of fun
  10. TJ, I should have known this was a prerequisite to a Facts of Fishing Seminar
  11. Perhaps a little swill after the Barrie event? I haven't met enough of the fine folks on OFC
  12. I think one of the biggest things I've seen from my relative few years on the rivers have been guys running way to short. Also running way to light. Why run a 4gram float when it's going to take half your drift for your bait to even get in the strike zone? Sure there are times and places that a light rig is required, but around here it's a rarity. This also hampers your casting ability, so when the other guys are bombing 15gr floats out to the main run, you are stuck fishing the crap water close to shore because you don't have the weight to reach. My leads are usually longer then the depth I'm fishing.
  13. How deep? Should have busted it up if you had waders and made your own run Can't be all that thick!
  14. Roy, no women have posted in the thread yet, there aren't any brownie points to gain :)
  15. Can I suggest more scantily clad women in bikinis? Just a thought
  16. Mike, the first pic on the right has a uncanny resemblance to Ferg in his younger years Craig, got it book marked, perhaps we can add some fancy DSLR pics to it in the future!
  17. You bank also most likely does Interac email transfers as well (I'm assuming this is what was previously mentioned)

    Kijiji

I've only sold a few things on Kijiji but they've been all normal people. Sold my TV in about 30mins after the ad was posted. Got the guys number, firmed up a price and helped loading it into his truck. I also bought my snowmobile off of Kijiji
  19. Nice looking fish man!
  20. 400 South @ Hwy 89.. I guess I got lucky with my Tim Hortons. I however have found massive differences between the Timmys up here and the ones closer to the big smoke. The one little drivethru located on the 400NB just past Major Mac is probably the worst out of all of them. I've NEVER had a good coffee from that place. I have a feeling they aren't brewing a new batch every 15 mins in order to save $$$.. But that's all speculation.
  21. Of course they all have stocked fish, that wasn't my point. My point was, is that a lot of them still have wild fish populations along with the stockers. The Catt would be a great example.
  22. You would have most likely been charged with failure to observe, or following to closely, etc. It's a very rare circumstance when the person doing the hitting isn't the one with the ticket, even though this bozo deserved one, lol.
  23. Sounds like fun.
  24. Get in the car and drive. So many trout creeks/rivers in Southern Ontario it's crazy.
