  1. Those are some super clean looking fish.
  2. 500k no problem? Duramax, Cummins or a Powerstroke. Pick one. Personally I'd go with the Duramax/Allison combo if you're hauling crap all the time.
  3. Browns are fall spawners, steelhead are spring spawners (For the most part) Browns usually spawn, then head back out to the lake. Steelhead will winter in the river, spawn in the spring then head back to the lake.
  4. Only rivers that aren't going to be blown are those high gradient freestone rivers. Not many of those around.. I am fishing this weekend, but not anywhere close to here, lol.
  5. I love my S10 ZR2, but if I was buying new, it would definitely be a fullsized truck for me. The inline 5 cyls are anything but good on fuel. If I was going to get another 'small' truck, it would be a Tacoma.
  6. Centerpinangling.com will have your stuff to you in two days.. Super quick shipping, love that place.
  7. The line twist flouro is famous for drives me crazy. I spooled up with it once, never again. If I'm jigging whities and lakers in 100ft of water, 4lb-6lb Fireline Crystal with a 24-36inch flouro leader. For perch in the shallower stuff I find the Berkley Ice line works pretty good (The blue stuff)..

    Huge Pike

The joys of a Canon 10-22mm UWA :laugh1: Hey, my dad caught one even bigger!!! I think it was close to 7ft long :)
  9. 6lb Fireline Crystal for all my icefishing gear. Doesn't hold the water like normal braid does. Have landed lots and lots of whities on it!
  10. Wait till the ice is thick and drive out. I've had my truck 13-14 miles off of 9th line on multiple occasions. Although now I have a sled, it's a lot more fun
  11. Chris, sorry for your loss bud
  12. Nice fish! Although they'd do better if you didn't let them flop around in the mud/sand.
  13. I always set a lantern on the dock when fishing for cats up on the French River, lol!! I hope the MNR doesn't get me!
  14. Lew, what about lures like TopRaiders at night? A bit to fast for the nighttime bite?
  15. I heard the champagne Frogwater is nice looking *cough* I have one for sale *cough* lol!
  16. Ugh, that reminds me I need to get Misfish to make me a rigid towbar for my sled! lol I'm sick of flipping my Clam.
  17. I sold our 15' Legend tiller this weekend.. Cash only sale. No way I'd ever sell a high ticket item via Paypal.. If you read the email carefully, they never refer to your boat.. they simply say 'your item'.. Total and complete scam.
  18. It really depends on the rod for me. There is something about a Fenwick and ultra light trout fishing that can't be beat. However, one of my fav rods is my 7' Avid MH baitcast rod. I put a beating on that thing and it's nice to know if it snaps, I get an replacement without issue. My oldman always says buy your fishing gear once, lol.
  19. Mooooooooooooooo!!! Those things are cows!
  20. Some finders take the SD card, some take the micro SD card. You've got both options.
  21. It's going to pixelate like crazy if you blow it up and print it.
  22. ...or they just wanted to have Thanksgiving like everyone else.
  23. I would guess closed today. Not really surprised though as it's a holiday.
  24. Al, anything else in that stream? :) I was out for walleye on Sat, big sucker minnows/chubs were the ticket.. I'd much rather catch them myself to be honest. Although I'd look like I was poaching brookies in the process, lol.
  25. Brian, gotta work on that gill hold I realize they are slippery buggers, get yourself a cotton glove or similar. Makes it a lot easier to hold on to them.
