Eh, it's a FWD econobox with a bit of luxury, you can't expect that much from it I just like the fact that I can haul all kinds of gear with my wagon and pull some awesome mileage numbers while I'm at it. It's also a tank in the winter with a set of snows on it.
Awesome job Johnny! Nothing like humping it into a small back lake and getting rewarded for it My last few trips have been absolute skunkaroos!!! hahaha
Good job man!! Best advice I can give you is to not cast upstream from your standing position. All you'll end up with is a bunch of slack line and a headache. Either cast across from you, or slightly downstream.. Keep your rod up, the line off the water and hold on You can also mend the line like you would when you're flyfishing (You don't want your line downstream of your float)..
I wished I fished in places that would allow backcasts like that, lol!!!
Usually it's so friggin tight I'm roll casting or casting upstream then pulling a 90degree turn to land the fly on the water.
Tis still fun though!
Crap, I forgot to mention my '99 Jetta TDI with almost 600,000kms on it before I retired it. Other then routine maintenance (brakes, TB, etc) it was bulletproof. It also pulled a best tank of 1428kms for 55L's of fuel.
MKVI Golf TDI. More hp and trq then your Civic, much safer, way better interior (ie it doesn't sound like a tin can when you shut the door) and get's better mileage.
Lot's of fun to drive as well
There are options out there, you just need to look.
The 55 is the height of the sidewall, which is actually a percentage of the width. So 55% of 215mms is the sidewall height (215 x 0.55 = 118.25mm) It's got nothing to do with the width of the tire.
If the OP can find 16in rims that will fit, go for it.
Just a sec... The 6.5 was based on the 6.2 which was actually made by Detroit Diesel. Nothing to do with the Olds engine.. GMc should have stuck with the 6.2.. The 6.5 was a horrible POS, lol.
