I don't think it should matter, in 2016, if someone had a same sex relationship in the past. That should not disqualify someone from running for office. Trump on the other hand, had been accused of raping a 13 year old at a home owned by his good friend Jeffrey Epstein. You know, the convicted child pornographer Jeffrey Epstein. Here's how Trump sees his molester buddy (direct quote): "Ive known Jeff for 15 years", Trump told New York Magazine in 2002. Calling him "a terrific guy", Trump continued, "Hes a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about itJeffrey enjoys his social life." Now, the Clintons have some connections to this guy too, I'm not gonna lie. But to say Hillary is unfit because she slept with a woman 40 years ago while giving Trump a free pass on his past is a joke.

Optimism, and a thorough rejection of the negativity of Harper, got our PM elected.

In the spring we were on shore, I usually do better from shore than in the boat early on. This year was slooow, so I dug out the boat and I haven't seen a walleye since ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I can't complain too hard, I did get a beauty musky three weeks back. But this time last year I had 5-6 dozen walleye already, and this year I doubt I've got one dozen.

It hasn't been a good year for my crew in the Kawarthas this year either. Saturday just passed 3 of us spent 10 hours in the boat and we had three 2-lb bass to show for it. It's been like that all summer for us.

I watched the first three episodes of Stranger Things back to back last night. I had to force myself not to watch it all in one go. This is a really good show so far.

I don't know if that's a good price for a rebuild, but I just checked kijiji and found a 2008 Opti 250XS for 10,500. I would do that before I'd spend 9000 to rebuild a 1999....

I'm not holding my breath for any new legislation to permit growing my own. If I can grow my own, they can't get their pound of flesh out of me. Legalization is a bit of a symbolic victory at this point. Anyone who wants to use weed is probably already doing it now anyways.

Are you sure about the 294.7m elevation? If so that would mean the entire city of Toronto (at elevation 76m) would be a flood plain yet we build all over it. That seems strange to me.

It would be unfortunate if they screw this up, but it's government so there's a good chance they do. If so, I'll just keep right on ignoring their unjust laws anyways so it won't be the end of the world.

I am halfway through part 2 of Dan Carlins "King of Kings" Podcast about the Persian empire. It's really fascinating and colorful, not dry at all. I recommend it highly.

I like Trilene Sensation in 6 pound for walleye. It's a little thinner than XT/XL and has a little less stretch as far as I can tell.
