  1. knew it that no one could get it down to one. whatchyall know bout an owner stand up jig with an OSP craw? if you wanna catch anything...fish it
  2. im a serious multi species angler..i probably have 1 for each species and each situation. Its impossible to say im throwing one bait though. the thing i fish the most is the daiichi standout dropshot hook with a jackall cross tail shad it will catch anything
  3. This... A bit rattled, but isnt this what lifes about? life gives you lemons, make lemonade. I dont think we will all die in a nuclear hollocaust...at least i hope.
  4. tootoo has native blood...i learned an important life lesson when i was 6 years old, i watched my 13 year old brother drop the gloves with a native kid from cranberry portage, needless to say it didn't end well for my brother.
  5. hard to say i agree when gretzky played with semenko hit star players all you want, but live and die by the sword.
  6. not surprised at all, Pete delivers as always...and as always simply a heck of a guy to fish with. Congrats on the skis! im sure you have the musky bug just like me now because of Pete. His enthusiasm for the species is contagious
  7. burrows is a clown always has been same can be said for kadri...the hit was clean, but the intention is the problem...if you do that to a star player, clean hit or not, you cant just turtle when you inevitably get in a scrap. Im glad the NHL handled this the way they did, let the boys police themselves...keep your head up and be ready to drop the gloves if you are throwing hits to lay out the teams best players. Expect someone to hit mathews or marner hard next game. Also Martin wanted a piece of dorsett and he knew he couldnt take him...hence why martin did what he did, im all for it...its no different then a clown like burrows spearing rielly except martin did it with his hands not his stick...gotta pay the piper. Good job to rielly for standing up for himself, you gotta do that stuff if you are a defenceman. im really happy to see the leafs looking competitive every game in every facet of the game...im loving watching hockey again.

  10. they are tough...but boy once you finally find them...holy crepe hold on Weve gone entire twelve hour days in the fall without seeing one, but then weve found them in 30FOW on bait and weve nailed a 20lb bag in 6 casts. weve also found them gorging on gobies in 3 FOW...hook into one and see a school of 6 4+lb bass chasing the one on...its madness. Ive got a week next week to try find the footballs again...we shall see what happens.
  11. have the waters reached the elusive 40th temp plateau yet?
  12. Brrrr....BRRRRRAAAPPPP BRAPPPPPPPPP (soon....)
  13. lol for real bunk...i think thats more of a situation where everyone knows that you are good and you just managed to run into someone who is very disrespectful. Heres a quick story about Karma 3 years ago were in our honey hole during the fall pickerel extravaganza in PAB...sure enough we start hauling fish in, one after another while the boats around us are getting skunked. After an hour of us hauling in some 20+ fish a couple of dinks in a tinner pull their boat within 20 feet of ours inside against the shore. so we are 25 feet off of the shore and they are now inside of us. Im not one to get rattled about this kinda crap, it is what it is especially during the pickerel run...but the karma that happened next left a big grin on my face. The dinks continue the skunk and decide to re-adjust their position. While trying to re-adjust their anchor so that they wouldnt swing into our boat (because they nearly did) buddy knocks his entire combo to the bottom of the lake. I jokingly offer to snag it for him and he replies "whatever it wasnt an expensive set up anyways" just as he gets his new rod tied up, i hook in and land a PB eye, I pose for a photo and the dinks look at me and have nothing to say but "nice fish" I reply "back she goes to spawn"
  14. still have this one 2005 mxz adrenaline crazy to think its 11 years old now!
  15. sounds like someones got the 1 foot itis already lol In 15 years time youll have a 20 foot Lund Tyee with a 300 lol
  16. Exactly...if you are so concerned take your photo without the recognizable cottage directly behind you...if you can recognize a rock in my photo and figure out my exact GPS coordinate, more power to you. The whole paranoia around losing spots is ridiculous...you are litterall 1000000x more likely to have someone physically see you fishing and take your spot then come onto OFC, see my photo and then boat to that exact GPS coordinate and subsequently also be extremely succesful while fishing the spot. I posted some winter walleye this year...i am way more concerned about the 40 other people that were out there fishing getting skunked watching me catch fish than someone on OFC going up in february, snowmobiling down the old trail and finding my exact spot and subsequently utilizing the only technique that we could get to work...kinda ridiculous if you ask me.
  17. as a point of reference i am running a starcraft 14 with a 15 suzuki. With casting deck, battery, electric bow mount troller, rods and tackle box, gas, safety kit, paddles and anchor plus myself at 180lbs I can do about 29kmh but throw a 200lb buddy in the boat and you drop down to 21kmh and she feels heavy, boat into a headwind and you are now topped out at 19kmh If you are going with a 9.9 you are going to want to keep things bare boned. They get weighed down very easily and with a 9.9 you might be feeling like you are doing more pushing than moving.

  19. To clarify Some people took things out of context...(bound to happen when there is a lack of tone) by my statement, I am calling out every able body on this forum to get out fishing... I have had conversations with some of the legends around here who are physically incapable of fishing due to age/disability. Hence they 100% get a pass from me because I can tell by the conversations I have had with them, the fact that they cant get out and fish is excruciating to them. I couldnt imagine... All I have to do is look at my main fishing partner, my very own father...There is no way in hell that he is physically capable of going out in a four foot chop to toss musky baits. Hence, I would never call him out for not fishing. Irish - my boat is in Pointe Au Baril...ive seen the 12 footers Brian - as per my most recent report http://ontariofishingcommunity.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=82786&hl=%2Byear+%2Breview I cant post every time I go fishing or id be posting multiple times per week. I also dont want to bore everyone with 100 photos of 3lb smallies. I try to post photos of PB's, master anglers, first time catches or any musky over 40. However I have a 9 day trip commencing Friday and the intention was to post a report summarizing from the end of July to the middle of November upon my return so stay tuned. so to summarize, if you are able bodied, get fishing...and send us some pictures.
  20. got the boys fired up...i hope someone gets out fishing because of this Grimsby lets see some fish
  21. not sure if taking shots at me or not...lol regardless...i stand behind the statement that too many people are talking and not talking while fishing. Once again, if you are an old timer you have a 100% pass, i dont expect you guys to be out like me and pete were in 4 foot chop throwing bulldawgz
