If you enjoy the stationary game then consider moving on from there and grabbing a flasher etc. First you definitely need to decide whether you like ice fishing though for sure.

pretty sure i cant count high enough to count all your kids. Id definitely be estimating they came by for the cencus multiple times and it was all screwed up because i was in the process of moving so my gf at the time had moved the day before and was technically not in canada during the day I as well as her destination completed the census.

this pretty much sums it up. You have to remember that indigenous folks have been handed the right to fish as they do by our very own lawmakers. To impose your own rule where folks are unable to access your business because they maintain certain rights is wrong on every level. Here it is put very very plainly...women have the right to freedom of speech. You as a business owner can disagree with this law and believe that women should be treated as sub human and therefore you ban all women from your business in the chance that they may express their opinion. sounds a bit friggin ridiculous doesn't it? well there you go he has every right to ban them...but that also makes him a racist, just as a person who believes women shouldnt talk is a sexist.

same experience here...the homie purchased a rapala gas auger ya its a cheap one so i wasnt surprised when the flimsy piece of crap plastic throttle handle snapped when it got clogged up with a little ice after 3 uses. tried reaching out to rapala to see if I could get a new trigger handle...no response a trip to canadian tire for a bike brake lever made of steel for 8 bucks did the trick and now the auger works better than it ever did with the stock part.

we got a reset up in PAB leading up to new years, our 5 inches of slush on top of 1 inch of black ice froze up solid...however a pile of snow and wind has made the whole lake a swamp again. Hopefully its gotten wet enough that this cold snap is gonna lock the slush up again. Typical on GB though for us to be variable as all hell with the ice, the majority of our ice is just frozen slush most years from the continuing daily rise and fall of water levels due to the wind. Yes...this ice is as bad as it looks

drove past little lake on friday and didnt see anyone out there. A mix of rain, snow etc has been making ice conditions crapola up in that neck of the woods. things may have changed over the past few days? or will most likely improve with the upcoming cold snap. my advice is to Take all precautions. i.e. Carry picks, a float suit, consider roping off to eachother, and spud spud spud.

just throwing this out there...my experience with fishing guides, and others in the fishing industry has been ridiculously hit or miss. Disturbingly the large majority of the time it has been a miss though. Its one thing to know how to fish, but if you are a weirdo, I do not want to spend money to spend the day hanging out with you or giving you my business. My buddy just had an experience on erie 2 months ago where the guide has his wife drive the boat and the whole time the dude was calling his wife fat amognst other things...how are these folks in business still?
