I wouldnt read too much into it Iron. I honestly feel like spam bots etc are making up a large portion of that anonymous number. Seriously, do we actually think a crowd of 300 people are on here unregistered attempting to get intel? The majority of the crap on here is just political rants and questions about sonar units. I post reports, yes i do not reveal exact spots but I would be crazy if I thought it meant that people were now fishing my area more. At most you might have someone saying hmmm i was thinking of fishing either French river or Pointe Au Baril, ive seen AKRISONER catching fish in PAB I think we should try there this year. You have to feel pretty special if you think a fishing report that says "I fished Georgian Bay/The Kawarthas/ Lake Ontario/ or lake simcoe and now everyone wants to fish there because of you lol. You wanna try fish Pointe Au Baril, go right ahead! I will tell you right now I am 1000000x more concerned of the fact that when im in my honey hole, boats driving by see me in my honey hole, than someone on here saying hey AKRISONER fishes in Pointe Au Baril and catches fish!

IMO nothing beats slowly wiggling a jig right infront of a fishes nose raising it off the bottom to get it to trigger to strike all in real time with a flasher. But to each their own. I fished with a graph and it was great for reaction strikes, but that super finnesse take is always a challenge without a flasher.

the games at hand, is becoming a bit ridiculous. 6 games on Boston? they are 7% of the season behind them lol. Expect more hockey than you can handle for the second half holy crepe its gonna be fast and furious. That's when we are really going to see the boys turn to men. Luckily youth helps when playing a tight schedule.

for those simcoe open water laker dudes, they are gonna have better weather than I had during the November pickerel run lol whats insane is the front line that exists. Chapleau 370miles from st catherines, its 9 in st kitts, its -24 in chapleau....insane take an 8 hour drive and experience a 33 degree temperature variation.

my sled goes quicker than 25kmh -20's is nothing up there. -30 is when it gets dicey and 40 you are staying home.

Pump Sail has a st croix combo on sale right now and the abu veritas combo is only about 40 bucks. That, plus a couple of buckshot jigs and some frozen minnows and you will be set for ice fishing. No equipment rental needed. If you enjoy the stationary game then consider moving on from there and grabbing a flasher etc. First you definitely need to decide whether you like ice fishing though for sure.

I was up in Pointe Au Baril The 6 inch layer of slush on top of the 4 inches of white ice looks nowhere near as good as that.

pretty sure i cant count high enough to count all your kids. Id definitely be estimating they came by for the cencus multiple times and it was all screwed up because i was in the process of moving so my gf at the time had moved the day before and was technically not in canada during the day I as well as her destination completed the census.

this pretty much sums it up. You have to remember that indigenous folks have been handed the right to fish as they do by our very own lawmakers. To impose your own rule where folks are unable to access your business because they maintain certain rights is wrong on every level. Here it is put very very plainly...women have the right to freedom of speech. You as a business owner can disagree with this law and believe that women should be treated as sub human and therefore you ban all women from your business in the chance that they may express their opinion. sounds a bit friggin ridiculous doesn't it? well there you go he has every right to ban them...but that also makes him a racist, just as a person who believes women shouldnt talk is a sexist.

same experience here...the homie purchased a rapala gas auger ya its a cheap one so i wasnt surprised when the flimsy piece of crap plastic throttle handle snapped when it got clogged up with a little ice after 3 uses. tried reaching out to rapala to see if I could get a new trigger handle...no response a trip to canadian tire for a bike brake lever made of steel for 8 bucks did the trick and now the auger works better than it ever did with the stock part.
