  1. i know about the entire political situation there...but any right minded person can see that Assad shouldnt be put back into power...theres a reason the war started in the first place. This is a whole Iraq situation all over again, except this time russia is helping the dictator commit genocide. Committing war crimes cant be justified regardless of the political situation.
  2. ya and they stage where they spawn and eat like a bunch of fatsos theres a reason we catch no pickerel in september and then catch 40 in a morning in late october...
  3. if im hunting eyes right now...im finding where they spawn and im dead sticking minnows in their doorway. Id be looking for somewhere the water is flowing into the lake and hitting them where they stage in 12-20 FOW.
  4. this...in my limited musky experience, I have had the slowest days when its warm and sunny in the fall. I think thats actually a pattern for all fish, my best days are always when its nasty out. Friday the boats got 6 in about 3 hours. Saturday it took us fishing from 9 until 9pm until we got one. We went 1/2 and then sunday we trolled for another four hours and only got one.

Putin is a tyrant. Assad was a solid customer of russian weapons, and this is how you keep contracts alive. They will continue to bomb their own country into oblivion until all anti government sentiment is erased. Also id like to point out that I am in no way defending the actions of other countries by pointing fingers...but Russia's continued bombing of civillian targets inside of Syria is a disgrace.
  6. ya while they bomb innocent civilians and children in syria...SMH
  7. anyone else see the discrepancy here? even if you made 5000 a year...lets multiply that by 10...50 k a year... a detached home for 50k a truck vehicle back then 3000 bucks a beer .10 breakfast 99 cents a bottle of rum for 2.25 lets multiply those things by 10x i just sold a semi detached 1200 square foot home for 550k... a new truck for 30 grand? ya right a beer for .70 cents? try $7 2.25 for a bottle of rum...try 40 bucks. breakfast for 10 bucks i went to the local greasy spoon and got pancakes with bacon last weekend and it cost me 15 bucks. not to mention you guys all got your jobs right out of highschool without a post secondary education.
  8. crazy enough...the weekend was slow 3/4 for 3 days...tough slugging, i think the fishies dont know what the hell is going on with this october weather, just like me.
  9. heres my rant the battle of the ego maniac facist vs the criminal we all lose. the end.
  10. lots of provinces have gone barbless...BC, Manitoba for sure maybe Sask? i consider it sometimes...but dont see myself doing it just to do it even though i mainly C&R. Fishing is tough enough as it is if you are playing within the rules and practice good C&R then it is what it is. As a rule if we mangle a fish due to a bad hooking...we eat it.

  12. Pete also does the St Lawrence and will come in at a much lower price point that Taro...He specializes in the kawarthas and the st lawrence. his gear is all top notch...and hes also an awesome dude/friend as a kicker. if you go out with him you will make a friend in the process. He checks the forums he has just been in school this past week. I sent him a text for you. Bill, you dont have to tell me about the size of GBAY skis...i have seen things...strange strange things.
  13. uhmmm our very own Fisherpete....results speak for themselves not sure why you wanna fish GB specifically for Ski's...its possibly one of the hardest musky lakes to fish...but maybe thats why you are intrigued?

  15. FYI this is illegal... I personally think its stupid as long as its within your limits...but heads up you can only use live bait listed on the bait list.
  16. give true canadian outdoors a ring in vaughan. We were able to get "whales" and various sized baits at a decent price. 905-761-9666 guys a good guy and even agreed to carry a few of my buddies hand tied flies and jigs. 18. not gonna happen...babcock had a hard time with finishing last last year. Largely because management forced it upon him. Expect a turn around year. i see them finishing 9th or 10th they may even squeeze in. (also...no one is going to be worse than the canucks...no one) Looking at how many 1 goal games they lost last year is very very telling of how easily a whole load of losses could easily turn to points. Especially if all it takes is Marner Mathews and Nylander to pop a couple. People are wary of making expectations to high, but i like the idea of these kids under the tutelage of babcock...its not as though they will constantly make the same mistakes over and over...40 games in I think they are going to look like a pretty interesting team.
  19. hahaha, that beltre swing is incredible.
  20. hey Dave in BC they generally define the provincial water boundary in the regulations. Anything beyond that boundary requires a salt water license. Out east they dont need the tidal water license. My experience is that it was always a clearly defined landmark i.e. a bridge, a sign or something along those lines.
  21. bullpen has now pitched 7+ (feel free to correct my number) innings of consecutive shut out baseball.
