  1. they are lower profile for sure, like i said i trail them with a 3 inch rhythm wave. the colours of the jackhammers and the jackalls just completely match perfectly for some reason. I throw them with a spinnerbait rod and the thump is just stupid...theres nothing comparable. They catch when others wont, and an added bonus they can be fished just like a jig do to their small profile. Ive had multiple fish now eat them at a dead standstill sitting on bottom.
  2. nothin like rippin lips with the lady friend. well done sir
  3. if towing it by hand, you will definitely want to get it up outta the snow. Ive got a 2 man clam and its basically impossible to tow through the snow by yourself for more than a couple of hundred meters.
  4. dont be shocked when the leafs ship off nylander, one of the marlies guys plus a pick for some defensive help.
  5. fattys...ahhh it must be summer, the fishing reports are piling in. nice shootin! We really got into chatterbaits last year, we started calling em cheaterbaits cause they just caught too damn well. Have you tried out the jackhammer...just a whole other level. They literally move through the water like a damn jackhammer and damn do they catch. I tip em with a 3 inch rhythm wave all sorts of fish cant resist.
  6. love seeing the kids just totally smoked at the end of the day
  7. lol bill you wouldnt believe what those good old boys on the bass boat central boards complain about. I saw a thread with a guy asking if the "cold water" was going to hurt his outboard, the guy was from Georgia hahaha i can guarantee those poor babies have never seen the water boiling on a November morning when the mercury dips to -18.
  8. if you want to watch good fishing shows, watch uncut angling, 49 hours and tactical bassin, done and done.
  9. glad to see another bass crazy guy around here posting pics. I also took 9 days off to fish, ill have a report up soon. Well done!
  10. can you direct me to the princess auto one? Im guessing its a straight plug and not the round locking type like minkotta sells? If there was ever an issue with charging a plugged in TM youd hope your fuse would burn up long before anything otherwise happened. Nothing should be able to get hot enough at the TM if there is a fuse down the line. Also would an alternator ruin your car if that was the case? To each his own anyways.... being a newb i wasnt even aware bank chargers existed until about a year ago...wow what a game changer, id never go without one again.
  11. <24 hours till im tossing spooks and catching monster g bay smallies...cant friggin wait!
  12. dude...you have two posts and you already found a way to get butt hurt? Look at yourself lol here fill this out it might help
  13. make sure its august, and noon...and you are drinking a coke while doing it.
  14. is that ahmic? Looks about as good as it gets.
  15. crazy enough bill, on pigeon saturday we couldnt get a nibble on the jerkbaits, the only thing eating them was musky lol Like 90% of our fish came on the giant dog x and zara. the other 10% were basically all caught on whacky senkos
  16. open the lids and take her for a drive lol...were getting soaked, hopefully by july it will dry out...you cant stop us from that opener bite when those big girls are sitting in 3 fow crushing topwater.
  17. hey glenner, if things dont work out for you, ive got a motorguide digital tour up for sale in the classifieds at a stupid low price. It may be too much power if you have a small boat, but let me know if you are interested.
  18. already happened! Standard tradition for me, family friends host the triple C family bass tournament on the tri lakes last saturday. Me and my partner always run over to pigeon to chase smallies and then in the afternoon go after largies. We caught stupid numbers but couldnt get a lot of size this year. Missed a few big ones but didnt get the big bite we wanted. My buddy jake landed his first musky though on a medium jerkbait rod so that was cool. Speaking of, the musky fishing on pigeon right now is nuts, the one he landed was the 4th one we had hooked into in 2 days of fishing for bass. Didnt land any others as they proved too much for our light line. We then bounce up to Pointe Au Baril for the opener this weekend. I have been taking the entire week off for 3 years now and I never regret it. I am sure over the course of the next 10 days of fishing I will find a few bigguns to make up for the small ones on the kawarthas. Should be awesome! Last year i hit a PB on opener, i hope to beat it again this year.
  19. word of advice to anyone on this forum that Snidley's post bugs...stay the hell away from the bass boat central forums lol...the views of the average boomer bass fisherman are really something else lol. RIP his show was pretty cool, it showed a side of many places that few white north americans would ever venture too. One of the coolest eps was him hanging out in the favelas in Brazil...Im still amazed that he survived some of his trips considering most white folks cant enter those areas unscathed no matter how much security they carry with them.
  20. lmao to throw salt on the wound the sharks then go trade hoffman to florida for way more return then they gave up to ottawa LMAO brutal.
  21. lol hoffman shipped off for a bag of pucks. Ottawa is even worse now lollll
  22. lol when my 4 year old nephew caught a smallie he nearly fell in the lake he was so scared haha
