  1. i originally thought that your feet would get sweaty in them, and that they would stay wet...but they dont and you can stand on em all day and be as comfortable as any running shoe. how can you beat that
  2. Zoom's TRD Craw is by far the best thing I have seen so far. The only company making realistic craws at this point was OSP and they were charging $20 + a pack.
  3. hate to say it folks, but they are the best damn fishing shoes you can buy. I dont wear them much outside of the house because yes, they shouldnt be worn anywhere in public...i still somehow manage to find myself wearing them more than i should because they are so comfy and easy to put on. mine are real tree HD as well lmaooo Drives the GF absolutely nuts
  4. good to know they are still biting even with all of this heat!
  5. good to see that the portable sonar was put to good use!' nice shootin! and solid pike!
  6. i shot you a PM nick feel free to text me if you want if you are interested.
  7. i read the lund and the nipigong so far...i have to say, every time you post a report it just confirms that Canada is the best damn country in the world. ill move on to issue 3 shortly, but thanks for writing these, i know how much time they take! especially because yours are so professionally done.
  8. most definitely they will at minimum put rumble strips, a flashing stop light...something. Any time you see a big time fatality like this usually the problem gets addressed with larger warnings etc.
  9. 85 is an issue especially for tournament fishing. Mortality rates can get pretty nasty when the water is that warm. Plus...fishing deep is just not as fun as that shoreline top water bite! Oh well offshore fishing it is! thats where tournaments are won anyways
  10. remember bail is set on a basis of risk of not appearing and potentially re-committing the crime. Remember, you dont pay bail at all if you simply show up on your court date. The point is that there is no reason to force this guy to borrow money to pay his own bail. He isnt going to be driving, and theres obviously little to no risk of him not appearing. The guy isnt a "career criminal" hes a person that made an absolutely horrific mistake and used poor judgment. Big difference between the two.
  11. ill be up fishing a tournament in that neck of the woods this weekend. with water that hot the trick is to going to be finding where that nice cool water intersects with structure. slow things down and as mentioned above try and fill the livewells early. gonna be a tough bite in the afternoon.
  12. heres a real life example...I have two boats up at our place. 18 foot aluminum with a 2017 4 stroke 150 vs fibreglass 17 with 1998 two stroke 130...its not even close...the 130 absolutely crushes the 150 every single time hole shot, top end, acceleration, everything. I still love the 4 stroke, it sips gas, doesnt need oil, cruises at lower speeds much better like a car...but its also got enough power. I wouldnt want to drive the thing with a 115 on it.
  13. i would not recommend switching to a similar HP 4 stroke if you were already considering moving up in power with your 2 stroke 115. to move an 18 foot aluminum, i would highly suggest going 150 if you are going 4 stroke. put it this way...that 4 stroke 115 would feel a lot like a 80hp 2 stroke
  14. fishing G bay but sticking to green backs, you crazy mane! nice fish
  15. the weather has been insane...last year in PAB we only got above 70 for a few days all year then the water went back in the 60's and never came back...ive had enough of the heat!
  16. lol great reply...you should lnow youve been following me around all morning ahhahaha at least you got one right after they left. Solid fish
  17. Kentucky lake, guntersville, okachobee all had their heyday...marion has been the little secret that has held up...mainly due to the lack of development on it and secondarily due to the complete lack of safe navigation. Trust me, you cant drive the "charted lines" i took a run through the "river channel" its not friggin safe at all, its full of deadheads and timber. I was lucky that my local buddy thats been on the lake for 30 years let me follow him from north to south...scary as hell too, we were WOT following him in his 21 foot triton 250...following him blindly it was a little unnerving seeing stumps 5 feet off of the side of the boat going 50mph lol. Ive got solid drive lines saved on my unit now though! We got caught up in the swamp when the rain came...it was so heavy that our surroundings kind of just disappeared. I turned on the bilge and even with it running full blast we ended up with 3 inches of water on the floor...thats where my phone and wallet were lol. It then didnt help that we kept getting periodic rain and extreme humidity all week. Nothing wanted to dry off. exactly...whats there to look at? sand shoreline? is your carpt not snagless? you are definitely right...but you gotta start cleaning your boat more
  18. anyone got an idea of where the thermocline is sitting right now up there? im guessing it breaks off after 15 feet or so right now its not that late in the season yet.
  19. Chris...you got your wish hopefully justice gets served. It really seems to my like the RCMP took their time with this to ensure that their case was very very solid. https://www.cp24.com/arrest-made-in-connection-to-deadly-humboldt-broncos-bus-crash-1.4002904
  20. sounds like karlsson is as good as gone. I dont think ottawa will be untarping any seats to watch bobby ryan and matt duchene try and score 20 goals any time soon lmao.
  21. you do realize that they have to sign them this year right? meaning according to your theory they have a 1 year window because they will all be gone aside from tavares next year?
  22. i own two ski poos... and that companies track record of producing total garbage over the last couple of decades is well publicized. Just look at Toronto's contracts with Bombardier for its TTC vehicles, they are all complete garbage. My whole family used to be a Ford motors, Bombardier products, domestic outboards family, we have completely moved away from buying any domestic motorized vehicles at all. They are nothing but problems, this goes right up to 2 years ago buying my truck. I just bought a used boat and i made damn well sure it was outfitted with a yamaha. Surprise surprise the only things we have never had issues with are our suzuki and yamaha outboards, and my old man's acura SUV.
  23. ughhhh As an alumacraft owner, this is very very very disappointing. Anything Bombardier has gone to the complete pooper if you ask me. Bad news all around. Glad we got one when you could still get a yamaha put on em...not anymore!
  24. im very very protective of that fishery...yes im aware of the irony of posting pics but i wouldnt dare ever show a single detail of where I am fishing them...They can be caught but you really really have to know where to look. The spots that have em, have lots and with good size, but at the same time those spots are contained...the strangest part though is that these fish are extremely variable...like they are either in the slop or they arent, its nothing like the kawarthas where if you fish pads you will always find a few largies kicking around no matter what. Its feast for famine. not a job for me, i like the cold...i have self diagnosed rynauds syndrome so my hands hate it as soon as its below +10..but the rest of my body? phhh i must be a manitoba boy, I spend time fishing outside at -30 and never have an issue aside from my stupid hands. im lucky, very very lucky to have a permanent place at my disposal at what i would argue is literally one of the best freshwater fisheries in the entire world. Yes the far far north has untouched lakes, but the diversity of G bay is what makes it special. To count we caught 8 different species of fish that week alone. Total I think weve caught over 12 different types of fish in one area...thats unheard of. A big part of fishing for me is not just catching fish, i like to explore and fish beautiful interesting places. (fishing lake erie anyone? yawnnn) great youve got 6lb smallmouth...id take the humps and bumps of Gbay over sitting in wide open field jigging bass any day. Marion is a friggin treat...its so different, so cool and everything you could ever imagine from fishing the deep south.
