  1. In the shot as he pulls his hand away from the steel container leaving his bloody palm print you see a bead of blue meth in amongst the blood in the seal between top and container. It was appropriate Walt was all about his perfect creation. Dude bleed blue.

      Enjoy M&S.

My first two days have been comforting.

  4. If you click on the Suageen near Port Elgin you can see It has peaked and is leveling off. Next couple of days might be good.
  5. Drive you must. You want to catch a river on the drop. After a rain when its reached its highest level and then started to fall. This is when the fresh fish enter the river. Here's the tool I use to help decide where to go. http://www.wateroffice.ec.gc.ca/text_search/search_e.html?search_by=p&region=ON
  6. Unfortunately theres nothing close. Huron and Georgian Bay tribs are the most popular with area residents. But don't ignore Lake Erie Particularly the Grand.
  7. The trend in North America is to take away free access to anything period. Governments have become so bloated and bureaucratic that they need the extra revenue to continue their ways.
  8. Some very nice bass there Mike. Great to see you sharing your passion with your Mom. That sounds weird-Your passion for fishing with your Mom.
  9. All I could think when I saw this thread topic was Please let there be a video of Jack catchin it. OP does not disappoint. Kids are awesome
  10. Chances are its just a mass produced bamboo rod. I've seen lots of them. It does however look in good shape and has important sentimental value. The best way to take advantage of this treasure is to learn to flyfish and use it. It's what your father in law would have wanted.
  11. Some nice ski's there. Gotta love the audience while your landing one.
  12. Promoted and Vacation next week, I'm so excited I must say

No less days, less hours, more money

  13. Oh Dan those are some beauty fish. I get my shot at em starting next Thursday up Sudbury way
  14. Yes this sucks Dana. I was fishing Big Club when the ministry guys that came to do a creel told me Wynn had pike in it. Make sure you call them with the confirmation and a link so they don't waste anymore money stocking it. This is why midnight stocking is such a damaging activity.
  15. Lots to chose from I find this tool handy http://www.web2.mnr.gov.on.ca/fish_online/fishing/fishingExplorer_en.html Enter the species and the distance from the city Huntville or Haliburton. For digging stuff out I like to start at smaller lakes
  16. Like is not the issue for me, its the precedent and the "not in their jurisdiction to decide" user rights/fees when said rights are supposed to be protected under law. Slippery slope. I'm glad that a portion of the money is used towards the fishery but I'd like to see an accounting of that money before I got all feel good about it,we are talking about the government.
  17. I really wish I had the money to fight that and I don't even Steelhead fish. It's against the law and discriminating to single out a user group. If to gain access to the river to fish in Essa township I have to have that pass, so should bird watchers or people just walking along the river. Its part of the whole reason I hate that stupid feel good Angling Heritage Law. Its all lip service Not one charge has ever been laid since the law has passed despite Town Councils everywhere trying to cash in or deny anglers rights.
  18. Thanks Roy. Not sure if I broke the rules on that one or not.
  19. Jealous,no we don't have em. And I would love to catch one someday Very nice fish BTW
  20. I'm totally willing to give out already known popular spots by PM. I'll give out bodies of water that with a little research should produce for a competent angler by PM. I'll give out resource tools like these http://nomap.ca/%28S%28urlvyvbq0euw3gmtufqtyqul%29%29/Home.aspx http://www.web2.mnr.gov.on.ca/fish_online/fishing/fishingExplorer_en.html http://www.ottertooth.com/discus/discus.cgi?pg=topics http://www.myccr.com/ http://www.algonquinmap.com/online.html http://atlas.nrcan.gc.ca/site/english/toporama/index.html http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/stdprodconsume/groups/lr/@mnr/@letsfish/documents/document/226817.pdf http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/stdprodconsume/groups/lr/@mnr/@letsfish/documents/document/226818.pdf http://fisheriesreports.org/wp-content/uploads/Atlas-of-Brook-Trout-Streams-Rivers.pdf over the open net and tell you DO THE RESEARCH its all available online,Then dig it out. How would I go about finding my first post I'm curious what it was?
  21. Did it make legal size so you could put it out of its misery? It is amazing that it still took a fly with all that damage.
  22. 4 to 5 colours of lead line will work as well. And I prefer lead to wire as you know just where your fishing.
  23. My most enjoyable trips as a kid were the ones we took with another family. Your kids will remember this one for a long time. Quite a unique family vacation. I think if more lodges catered to the woman in our lives(comfort) they might see a few more couples out on the lake instead of a sausage fest. Also the only time I was up in Hornepayne was at Nagagamisis PP BEARS EVERYWHERE.
