Where in Ontario to get an Ion Electric Auger?

What you didn't name your "guns" thunder and lightning. lol Art -
Roy if you decide to get the system (WE100) and add a set of (blue/purple). Give me a holler and I can set you up with some wood "stones" that use diamond slurry paste. While the wicked edge have the stones and paste there price is very high compared to what I have been able to outsource the pastes and the blocks are easily made with the help of Pops and his workshop. You can go with the ceramic stones for your micro work but I have found them easily clogged and difficult to clean. Art

I decided to take up an old hobby that I have done in the past. I started making custom knifes again. Here are a few that I have made this year. This is an old knife I bought from a flea market and I refurbished the steel and made a new handle out of a wood called Tiger maple. This is called a patch knife and the handle is a poplar tree with a diagonal cut to the wood. These are hunting knifes from top to bottom Leopard wood, Cherry and Maple. The blades are called domascus blades and are hand forged and rolled to build the layers you see in the knifes metal. These are a set of damascus steel paring knifes the edges are tempered and are a vg10 making them really sharp and holds a good edge. The handles are made of a maple with a walnut stain to darken them. This is a trout fillet knife with a laminated silver and black handle with a 440c blade. This is the sharpener I use called the wicked edge it is the finest sharpener you will find and puts an edge on a knife that is truely sharp. http://s174.photobucket.com/user/aplumma/slideshow/sharpening%20blade%20micro This is a microscopic look at the way a blade is sharpened and what the difference is between a factory edge is and a truly sharp edge. Hope you have enjoyed this. Art

I use reels that have deep spools for any time I am casting deadbaits for large catfish. I set my spread out 60-90 ft from the boat in a fan configuration and set the reels on light drag for the pick up. I also use them when surfcasting from the beach for saltwater fish. On a good cast you can put out 80 to 100 yards and then have to turn a fish back to the beach quickly unless you are using a deep spool. Art

For the price you have to spend you should watch the classifieds for a gentle used one that will get you more bang for the buck. I will say an inexpensive reel is one that will either aggravate you with poor performance or break in the worst time and manner. Art

The final word on the pitch is if you sell your car you will then need to buy a newer car/van. They can make a trade in offer sound pretty good even getting you better than blue book but in the end you either get a poor trade in and a good price on the new van or great trade in and a poor deal on the new. I thankfully have the system beat I am the plumber for the ford dealership and when I buy a car I sit in front of the computer of the owner and see what they have exactly in a vehicle including kick backs and we come to a fair price. Cliff don't forget to call the credit card company and inform them you are traveling in the USA from date to date so they will not flag your card when you try to purchase stuff in the USA. I started doing it when I travel to Canada and have had no issues with cards being denied since doing it. If you path comes thru Virginia P.M. me for directions and phone # for a nice place to overnight if you and Sue want too. Art

Glad you are here. Now it is time to convert the rest of the family to the fish side. Art

Good to see that you got the deal you wanted on the boat you wanted. I have always found good quality boats at fair prices down here. Yes there are some people who want to take your money but by and large I found if you approach a dealer and are honestly trying to purchase a boat and offer to pay a small fee for any extra over and beyond questions and requests they will bend over backwards for you. Don't be scared we have the same run on items when we get bad weather and they tell us the same thing minus the what if's of going to war with Canada. The reason that things are so slow to restock is people are hording the supplies such as survival gear guns and ammo especially. We haven't had 22 ammo available for almost a year now. The factories have geared up to produce the 9mm .45, and other man stoppers for the hoarders to buy at a premium price I might add. A true lesson in supply and demand for those that love to watch people and their reactions to social media events. Art

Sometimes a liberal return policy is not a good thing. I can't tell you how many times people have been burned by returned products that have been "modified" by people who take out good parts and then return it to the store. The victim ends up being not the store but the fellow customers. The store does not notice or worse is not familiar with the product and it goes back on the shelf for the next person to deal with. Where it really gets bad is when you have hired a contractor to install the broken product and it can't be done as it is. You then get to pay me to come back or worse wait since you don't want to take off another day of work. It is not a harmless crime to return items under false pretenses regardless what the legal law of these actions are. Art

I have a thru hull transducer in a 89 fiberglass Ranger it worked poorly until I installed it with this product. http://www.firstchoicemarine.com/p-88825-vexilar-ace-transducer-epoxy-ace001.aspx?gclid=CJSQwJPT9LsCFTEV7Aod-wcAqQ. The back of the boat with the way the water transfers off will be difficult at best to locate a clean spot from the picture I see. I could be wrong though. Art

On the upriver side of peoples docks on the river they have a piling with a steel wedge going from the top of the post into the upriverside of the water. I had always wonder what it was for and it was explained that as the river thaws the big sheets of ice run into/up it and is breaking apart and keeps it from taking out the docks. Pretty slick in my opinion. Art

Good to see that as the weather warms people shake off the effects and return to their former goodhearted selves. Art

Without a picture here is my idea. Drill a hole into the switch and put a piece of 1/8 inch brass dowel in it and glue it with a 2 part epoxy. Keep the dowel just long enough to flip with your gloves on. Art

Check with a fabric shop they have lots of products or a upholstery shop that does cars, boats ect. Art
