We might be OK, they are going to start installing a quarter slot in the toilet paper dispensers in public restrooms! -

I have wrestled with ladies many times, but always in the privacy of my own home, pin me baby!

Original clear blue Stren always worked for me.

Lost a cousin years ago, 12-13 year old kids riding their bikes on a frozen river, kids don`t generally think.

Steve Zacharyasz and Mike Pettry, I have known Mike Pettry since he was born, Steve fished with us in the same group. Mike has been going to the Lunge Lodge since he was a little kid, just guessing that he jumped on the chance to be a part of the ownership. Both competed in the Ohio bass tournament scene, both are top quality anglers, and not just for bass. No idea on how they are at running a camp, but both were always good people. I don`t recall ever fishing in the same boat with Steve, but with Mike. Never heard of a problem with either. Now looking at it, the young guy with the black ball cap in my avatar pic is Mike, like 1988-89.

I collected fishing reels for a long time, always used the Postal service, whether it was to Europe or Japan.

Probably 95 % of the guys I fished with in tournaments used the old green Curados. A dependable reel, easy to get parts for if you ever had a problem with one, and they last, a consideration if you don`t have sponsers giving you free reels to advertise. I still know people buying the old ones on ebay, for those reasons.

Certainly! but me and my dog both have enough sense to stay indoors near the woodburner.

It`s been a while since I cleaned one but Lake Erie Steel Head? Large Emerald Shiners, small shad, small perch. -
It`s always nice to look out the window and see wildlife and not animals people brought with them?

Kind of like the cable plans that make you pay for 60 channels, and only 10-15 are fit to watch?

A large slip bobber, 4/0-6/0 hook, wire snelled, and a 1/4-3/8 ounce worm weight. The pike will clean them off the hook for you. Always check your bait fish regulations.

"Each one of these top 10 used their own pattern, on their own location, and landed their fish at different times along with different depths. What were all these fish telling the top 10 – nothing." Actually the fish may be telling them they got lucky? Even the top pros don`t win all the time.

Consolidation in the Tackle Industry
OhioFisherman replied to Gregoire's topic in General Discussion
Well all of my Abu reels were made in Sweden, now their ads say engineered in Sweden, and made in Korea? China? My first new Abu reel cost me like 14 bucks when I was 10-12, I sold it and a couple grooved rim 5001`c I used for 25-30 years to a collector in Japan for 150.00 a piece, they were still like new, and I still used them. I do like the thumb bar better than the old metal push button, the one way bearing is a nice addition, but tactics, the ability to figure out what the fish are doing is a lot more important in most cases than what you are using to fish for them. Although they have managed to sell it well? -

"And every time they buy another competitor to add to their corporation, they consolidate production......in China...but the prices don't seem to go down much." No, but it certainly allows for an increase in pay for the CEO`s! -

Just another way of looking at it and I don`t live there so I have no idea how your systems works. If the residents of the town paid their tax dollars to buy and maintain the park? shouldn`t a fee for out of town people be in order? or just allow them to freeload at the expense of the people that live there? I didn`t have a problem with paying a reasonable fee at a camp up north for docking my own boat when I went up there, I understood that the camp owner had to maintain the docks if I was using his boats or mine. If I didn`t dock a boat I wouldn`t have had to pay. Your using their launching ramp, their parking, for a vehicle and a boat trailer? or sled trailer? shouldn`t a fee be in order? I have to get a chuckle at people that spend all kinds of money on "their" own equipment, but find it unreasonable when the residents of a city or town enact a fee for non residents to use "their" facilities. I don`t recall ever hearing of any one complaining about non resident anglers fees? -
Actually the biggest bowfin I ever saw, pushing 20 pounds was caught by my buddy on the Georgian Bay in about 20 feet of water.
